So we finally sprung for the "big" room. Since we have a real kitchen I'd like to take advantage of it. But the car isn't any bigger.

I can either ship our clothes and fill the car with coolers
Or I can have extra food delivered.
(I do not want to go grocery shopping on vacay, not to mention there has only been one trip in 10 that DH did not get lost)

Anyone remember costs? We are staying at BWV in 15 days!

Given your options, I would go with delivery from a place like Garden Grocer https://www.gardengrocer.com/. It will be A LOT cheaper than shipping something to the resort. Make a plan for what you are going to cook and pack a small bag/cooler of spices, condiments, cooking oil, coffee and filters. I also bring/buy disposable coffee cups so I can bring a cup of coffee with me on the way to the parks.

Personally, I would just go to the grocery store and save the increased prices and delivery fee. It's only 6 miles and a 10 minute drive to the Celebration Publix on 192.

First, we have done Garden Grocers 3 times and loved it. We drove all 3 times and we are so anxious to get to WDW we do not want to go grocery shopping as we enter the Orlando area. Not a huge selection but very good, not the whole store.

You can go on the Garden Grocer site and see what they have you can even start shopping and pretend checkout so you can see the cost.

I have on previous visits start my shopping on GG months before and it keeps my list till I was ready to checkout and order.

The most recent time I was more seasoned planner and packed the dry essentials. Example napkins, paper plates, coffee and filters, mini muffins (my sons breakfast) and seasoning eric.

If cost is a concern, a local grocery store is probably your best option and bigger selection.

I will probably use GG again this summer.

:thumbsup2

We eat at WDW the first day and use the car the following day to do our shopping. As an owner, we don't feel the need to rush off to the parks, 30 - 50 years is a long time to visit WDW. :goodvibes

You can have a service deliver your food but in a recent study the cost was in this order from least expensive to the most expensive:

Rent a car for a day and do our own shopping
WeGoShop
Garden Grocer
Disney Grocery Delivery

We have done it all on various trips. We've driven and packed the car tight (only a 1+day drive for us). We've used a towncar service with a grocery stop. We have shipped a box and used Magical Express. This last time (just DH and myself in studios (2 resort stay), we flew and we used a towncar. We shipped a 'medium size' moving box. I send snacks, kitchen items, Brita pitcher and more importantly toiletries that I would be able to use up and toss during our stay. We still used the grocery stop for water, beer, milk/dairy and some breakfast stuff. But in the end, we felt for the $35 that it cost us to ship the box, it really wasn't necessary to for the towncar and could have used ME and ate the cost of Disney grocery price for the stuff we needed that was perishable. Again, only 2 of us and only lean breakfast basics needed. But we will use this last trip as a reference point for our needs the next trip.
