Shipping package to your resort?

How does the bell services at WDW know your arrival date? Do you have to let them know ahead of time you are having a package shpped? What do you put on the shipping label although you will not know your room number? I am trying to figure out exactly how this works. We want to send down somethings to decorate our villa for Christmas and some bottled water. Thanks

I just shipped a package on Tuesday. The CM I spoke to at Wilderness Lodge told me to put our name and arrival date on a label on the package. Last year I shipped to POFQ and they had me add my reservation number also. Hope that helps!!

I would just call ahead and ask what info you need to include on the label. I am shipping a packing to POP next week and I was told to include my name, reservation number and arrival date on the outside of the box.

I ship a box each year for Christmas and have never had a problem. I ship UPS and on the address label section for Ship TO for Company name I put the Hotel Name then where it asks for contact name I put our name and arrival date. In the reference section I put our reservation number. I track the box so that I know it arrived and who signed for it. Then when I get to the hotel to check in I ask them to confirm the box has arrived. They check say it is there and then I ask them to hold it for Christmas Eve as its "Santa's presents for my DD". They have no problem doing that. I go down Christmas Eve after DD is asleep, pick up the box put it under the tree in our room and the next morning Voila -- Christmas has arrived complete with presents from Santa.
