Shipping items from Wilderness Lodge

Hi Everyone! We will be coming down in late February with a stay at the beautiful Wilderness Lodge. My daughter is getting married next year and accompanying us, with intentions of purchasing items to help with her Disney themed wedding. My question is do the resorts help out with packaging and shipping large boxes directly to our home from the resort? And if so, what are the fees involved?

Not sure about a resort, but you can arrange for the stores to ship. We had a a box of items purchased at the Disney store in Downtown Disney shipped home. It may take a week or 2 to get it though.

You've got a couple of options here. You can have items shipped to your home directly from the store you purchased them in, from the front desk of WL or from one of the five business centers on property (BC/YC, BW, CR, GF, CSR).

Shipping from store-to-home is more costly than the other options with rates starting at $9.99 for up to $50 of merchandise and increasing from there at intervals. It is however the easiest option as you don't have to worry about shipping supplies; the store will take care of that for you.

Shipping from front desk-to-home is done simply by visiting the front desk of WL. They will have some shipping supplies available but not a lot, so if you're going this route keep in mind you'd be better off bringing your own to package your shipment.

Shipping from business center-to-home is the option I do. Each business center has a variety of box sizes to choose from and everything from bubble wrap to shipping tape available for purchase. They'll also help you to package your items. Here, and at the front desk, prices are going to be your standard FedEx/UPS rates, based on package weight not value.

Thanks for the info. I to thought the in-store shipping was pricey, but it was convenient.
