Shipping from BWV

I am wondering if the BWV would provide me with a box and ship something home for me. I am packing light,only a carry on and I'll probably purchase and wear some new stuff, so not everything will fit in the carry on on the way home. Thanks for any input.

On the Inn side of BW, way down by the convention area, there is a business center where you can get whatever you need for shipping. Last time we went, we shipped home the biggest box they had available and then some!!!

Yes, they will ship at the business center - I think they charged us $10 packing fee (they boxed the items for us) and then the UPS charges. Worked out well for us. Note I think they are only open Mon-Fri.

I just discovered shipping home from the World of Disney! After being way too sucessful finding items for my 5 DGDs I realized that there was no way I could carry all of it on the plane. The CM at WOD suggested I ship it directly from the store. I could Fed-Ex or UPS. Fed-Ex would get it home before I was home so I opted for 10 day UPS. The cost of the shipping was offset by not paying Fl sales tax on the shipped out of state items! Everyt hing arrived in one big box which was packed perfectly. I would do it again.

There are many times I wish I had not purchased sooooo much! Now, I'll just ship it home!!

The convention center is open 7 days a week, we shipped our box home in December, on a Sunday.

So you didn't have to pay your home-state's tax either (like you do when you buy from Disney Catalog)? Hmmmm.... I wonder if Team Mickey, OUAT, or House of Pooh, etc. have similar deals?

Wonder if I could play around with some rough masses / box sizes on the UPS website and using LBV as the "FROM" and my address as the "TO", get an idea what it would cost me....

I know that they ship from the Disney At Home store and the Christmas store in DD, so my guess is that they will ship from most, if not all, of the DD stores. I have also bought a small item in one store, bought multiple items in another store, and had them put the small item in with the multiple items.

I did ship form a hotel once, and it may have been the BWV. I went to the front desk and they gave me a box and tape and charged the shipping charge to my room, as I recall.
