Shipping Bassinet to BC

I need to ship a bassinet to Beach Club in September. We will be visiting with our family and friends and I need this to be there.

I am buying a new one and having the package shipped. My husband can assemble in the condo.

I plan on leaving it behind with a note for housekeeping to have it.

I know there is a pack and play and crib option but I'm bringing a 1mo old in addition to my 2yo and 5yo and I think I want a special type of crib (vibrating, mobile, music etc..)

Is this do-able?

Has anyone shipped a package to the hotel and have any advice for me?

There will be surcharge for the package delivery at BCV. All of the hotels with convention centers have outsourced receiving/shipping to a private vendor that charges a fee. Other than that, there should be no problem. Be sure the shipper notes your reservation number and arrival date on the outside of the box.

Have you considered using a rental company? There's a company in Orlando that deals exclusively in baby items - cribs, strollers, etc. I can't remember the name, but I'm sure a quick googling would come up with it.

Also try orlandostrollerrentals.com - they have all sorts of baby stuff for rent. I've used them and would recommend.

I would wait until your baby is born and see how he/she sleeps. Most one month old babies will sleep anywhere, and I'd be surprised if you needed all those features for a short stay.
