Once my husband had a case of wine shipped to the house. It turned out to be more trouble than the savings was worth.
- The UPS guy came to our house while we were at work, left a "you weren't here note".
- He came back the next day, same time -- duh, we work every day, guy!
- Left a note saying he wouldn't be attempting again, we could pick up at their headquarters, which is one city over, not at all convenient for us.
- Went to pick up, arrived minutes after they closed.
- Husband took a long lunch the next day to arrive during business hours.

Not at all worth the effort.
Yes, and I described the problems we had with delivery time and having an adult home. In the end, we ended up having to drive to the next town to pick it up ourselves. Are you willing to hang around the hotel room for the delivery person so that you can sign for it?Not sure why this would be a problem, seems pretty obvious to me that someone would 21+ would have to receive it/sign for it.
We used Garden Grocer on our 2011 trip and we were very pleased. This may have changed since then but I had to spend a $40 minimum on groceries other than the alcohol. This was fine because I had a young child that I bought food for. I did not need to fax my license nor did I have to show ID for my order to be delivered. It was there waiting for us when we arrived at our resort.
