Shipping a Package to RPR

Since we will be arriving Christmas Day and Garden Grocer is closed that day I was thinking of shipping a "care" package to the RPR using FedEx. I would be shipping water, snacks, and breakfast type items. Has anyone done this before?

put your name and date of arrival to the hotel on the package.
it will be held for you.

make sure you give yourself plenty of time to send it by fed ex.
christmas is on a weekend this year.

I had a package shipped to me at RPR. I had to pick it up in the office in the conference center.

If I were you, I would find out (a) will that office be open on Christmas Day, (b) if it will not be open, will a hotel employee be able to get the package for you or will you have to wait until the office re-opens, and (c) if you have to wait until it re-opens, when will that be?

Also, if you are shipping heavy stuff, will they help you get it to your room? It may be a long walk from the conference center to your room (and it will feel even longer if you're carrying heavy stuff.)
