You can get crockpots at a reasonable price from either
Amazon or
Walmart with free shipping. I would definately do this, as even at full price, it would save time and money if you have the recipes (and love them) and groceries planned to use it a lot, as long as you buy it with shipping time forcasted to arrive the week before you get there. See the shipping threads to resorts, if you havent already.
I had things shipped to us at the Fort using the post office (not as 'recommended' on other Dis shipping threads as private services like UPS or fed ex, because it goes to a central disney P.O. processing point and takes longer) but our things arrived much faster than I thought they would. Our trip was more than a week, so I was sure they would arrive, just not sure how fast.
We got them a day or two into our trip, one package was brought by disney castmembers to our site, and one was held at the outpost, and a notice was taped to our windshield when we returned from the Parks. About 7 days in transit.
Edited to add--- you don't say how long your stay is. I would only do it for a week long-ish trip, not one of a few days. And only if I had the cabin full size fridge to store groceries in. Only a longer trip would make it worth it for me.
We stayed in a popup this trip, I used a crockpot for many meals, but next time, I'd cook less, on-site in that set up. Eat out more. The big deal for me was not having a fridge to keep meats and dairy cool enough for a cooking span of weeks.
