Ship Boarding Time?

What time is the earliest you can board the ship? And can you go right to your cabin at that time?

They list boarding time as 1:00pm, but it most often happens at around 12:15pm. They will usually tell you that the rooms are not available until 1:30, but you can often go there before that and drop your carry-ons. Often, your room steward will be there and they'll usually tell you it's OK to leave your things. You can even activate the safe to store valuables at this time.
