We made it back, and had a great time...What a WONDERful way to spend a holiday weekend.

Well, The DW is wearing a vey nice wedding dress, nothing fancy, just something simple. I'll try to post photos after the shindig so you all can see.
I am wearing a suit and the kids are wearing jackets/ties and a dress. We told our guests to bring something nice for "Palo"...little do they know they have to wear it to the wedding...

At 10:00am on the 25th of September if you're not able to join us, please raise a glass, make a toast and "say a prayer" that all went well...

Anyway...all of the invites are done. The DW (far more creative than me), has put together some sort of beach bag (names embroidered) as favors. Umbrellas, towels, sun screen, water bottles and all sorts of other stuff so they can enjoy their time at the beach after the ceremony.

We're going to have the concierge team deliver them the night before, with the invitations and put them on the bed for turndown. SURPRISE!!!

So far so good.

I just have to say , That day is an awesome day to get married. My DH and I will be married 9 years on that day.

Actually, I swore off of Miller product because they are not American made...So now I only drink Budweiser products. It's a her and she may have gone out for her own..LOL

I thought about your VR on the 25th and wondered how it went. It looks like it was perfect all the way around. The weather looked fabulouse too. I just looked at your VR pics and they are wonderful. I love the colors that you choose. The green was very pretty on everyone. I loved the cake too. We did not have the color option 2.5 yrs ago when we did our VR...but I am not complaining. So how was Palo's? The private room must have been filled to capacity! We also received the DCL/DH robes too. Aren't they great...we still take them on our cruises and use them at the pools/spa...and we still get alot of 'congrat's to us too!I loved the pics with the white background...we should have thought of that, we were so rushed during the photo shoot. Did you get pics in the lounge areas? Can't wait to hear more about it...BTW I changed my avatar to my granddaughter...

Palo was filled to capacity! I didn't know I could have a different color on the cake until I asked about 3 weeks ago..I also asked for Almond flavored buttercream which they did..it tasted sooo good with the Palo chocolate sauce drizzled over it.

The photographers in the Atrium convinced us to do the white background..we thought it would be washed out with the white on white but those came back the best..i made a collage at Target:

I love the B2B pics too! Do you have a closeup shot of the t-shirt that your hubby is wearing in the first pics of him. It looks interesting! You make a great looking couple too and your daughter is very cute..just wait, in a few years the phone will be ringing and the boys will be lining up! Have fun with that!

Hello Everyone!!!!

I'm sure some of you (Mozart), were WONDERing if I had fallen off of the face of the Earth. But, I am still here, although I have been so bad at updating or even checking in...I have missed you all, my DIS friends. I hope this finds you all doing well.

After July of last year, with all of the US financial issues, we found ourselves, like many Americans, doing whatever we could to make smart decisions...Jobs, and other situations have changed, but we are doing OK...

I did however vow that this year we would slow down on the vacations and stay closer to home...WIth a cheerful smile and hearty laugh, I can say that my New Years resolution is officailly OVER!!!!

We booked this morning on the May 14th Cruise...Hey, the kids sail FREE!!!!!

So, as I have stated before...HERE WE GO AGAIN!!!

I must be nuts...Anyway, check in, say hi...And I will update the photos from last year (OMG) I promise.
