Shhhh! Mickey's Twying to Sweep, be Quiet! - A July '11 Anniversary TR - Update 12/24

Ack, Brazilian Tour Groups! It still amazes me how many of them there are and I've NEVER seen them in Disney, throughout all my trips. I'm quite shocked. Good thing you got in line before they knocked you back (: LOL @ the hand on Jason's head on SE

I'm shocked Joaquin didn't do something insane after reading about all the other crazy things he's done at Turtle Talk with Crush. Maybe he was taking a break :confused3 But good thing the Angler Fish wasn't working when you were on the Seas, after learning about Riley not liking PhilharMagic that couldn't have been good. The Fish scares me!

"You jacked me right in the face!" The things Joaquin has come out with so far through this TR... :lmao: He is a riot lol And he was definitely into the little Figment game. I love how they played One Little Spark while all those kids were hopping around. If only they would bring back the original ride with it (and ImageWorks) :cloud9:

Can't wait to read more! :mickeyjum

I swear, I ran so fast to get in line. I didn't want to be in the mob!

See, you know what I'm talking about with Joaquin! I totally expected him to do something nutso during Crush, but he was very well behaved.

Oh, there will be a lot more coming from Joaquin. Just wait.

Those tour groups sound like such a headache. I couldn't imagine having to navigate around one of them. :scared1:

I probably would've laughed out loud if I'd been on the ride and heard "You jacked me right in the face." :rotfl:

I could not stop laughing when Joaquin said that. :rotfl:

Wow at the tour groups - that is scary! :scared1:

Love the future pics and lol at Joaquin saying 'You jacked me right in the face!' :rotfl: Looking forward to the next update.

In all the times i have been to WDW i have only encountered one tour group, thank goodness.:thumbsup2

And there are more tour group pictures to follow later in the TR.

Joaquin's got some great one liners, doesn't he?

This is actually my first encounter with them too. Normally they are not there when we visit.

Joining in, your TR is fabulous!!! That video of Joaquin falling asleep at the table is just way to adorable.

Yikes! That was a lot of Brazilians! Glad you made it time to get ahead of 'em!! Thank goodness we've never had an issue with that madness. :scared1:

Joaquin is too funny! I don't think I'd have known how to respond to that one. I wish they'd change Figment back to how it was, too. I never got to ride the original! :sad1: My youngest absolutely loves Figment, but I'm super curious. No one seems to like how it is now.

I didn't know how to respond to Joaquin immediately either. I totally thought people were going to think that we were abusing him! :rotfl:

I think what I like the most about the original Imagination was that it was very whimsical. Much more along the lines of what imagination is like. If you YouTube it, you can see the ride through.

I miss the original Imagination ride too. the video that I have is not the greatest.

I loled at your nephew hugging the stranger. My nephew did that with my uncle one day he felt his bottom thinking it was hit daddy. you never saw a child running quicker when he realised it wasn't his daddy :rotfl:

The kids look like they're having so much fun at The Seas and the Imagination pavilion. I do wish they would restore the original Figment ride, it sounds like it was more fun.

Hey, it was the 80's. I mean, what would we expect from the videos then? :lmao:

Joaquin's face was priceless when it happened. Utter shock. :scared1: He had no idea what to do.

They did enjoy both of those pavilions very much.

I miss old school Figgy every day. :figment:

Love those pics of the rooms! I could live there! I would love that to be my everyday apartment. I especially like that little shelf area by the sink. Things get so cluttered around the sink. That little nook is perfect.

Haha, skipping stone Joaquin? That must've been a sight to see! Too bad that's not recorded! What a little daredevil though!

Even though he's not a fan of Mary Poppins in that picture, it's sucha n adorable picture with those dimples! Oy, love 'em!

AAAAAAAAHAHHAHA, "You jacked me right in the face!"

I loved the room! I was so happy that we were able to stay there. I loved the nook, it really was perfect for balancing my stuff.

It was a sight to see! I totally wish I had caught it on tape too!

Oh, there is so much more then "you jacked me right in the face..."

So we left off that we were heading off to lunch. Our destination was the Tangierine Cafe. I love that place.

Chris and I actually ended up having a stroller race with Joaquin and Riley through World Showcase. What fools we were! It is the middle of July in Florida you know!

So we're running with the kids and they are shouting at us.

"Go faster, go faster!"

"Tee Tee, there's the finish line, go, go, go!"

"Hit them, hit them. We're gonna cwash!"

"Go, go, the finish line! We can't lose to Riley!"

"Tee Tee, I'm a bad dwiver!" (That was Joaquin to me. Apparently I wasn't very good at steering the stroller).

We get up to France and Belle is out. Riley wanted to see her and I had to take a potty break. So I left to go to the bathroom, and they waited in line.

So I get back from the bathroom and Joaquin has finally gotten over his fear, because this is what I see.

Man I tell you, he had her FULL attention. Must be because he's so dang cute!

I managed to get there in time to capture this little tidbit on video.

Priceless, no?

After we were able to tear the love birds away from each other, we made it to our destination.

We all managed to order pretty quickly.

Note to anyone about Tangierine Cafe. I love this restaurant, but I completely forgot that there is NO AIR CONDITIONING!

We sat outside to eat. It did not go well for the kiddos. Joaquin was wilting like crazy. I did manage to get pictures of our food though!

Mmmmm.

So very tasty.

It was time to take some pictures of the architecture around Morocco.

After we finished our lovely lunch, it was time to head over to Soarin' to use our fastpasses.

On the way, I had to get a Grey Goose slushie. I use the word slushie in the loosest way, because there was really not much slush in it. More ie.

We were very happy with our drinks though.

After I finished my drink, Joaquin begged and begged for the cup. After it was thoroughly emptied, I complied. And got what I think is a pretty funny picture.

DSCN1464.jpg

And two seconds after that, he dropped it and it broke. Bye bye cup.

We made it to Soarin'. Woo hoo!

Hello, and welcome to Soarin'.

I have to get a picture of him every time. I love Patrick Warburton.

Riley rode with me (again, continuing the streak of my pure awesomenesity). Joaquin was just tall enough to make it. He got soooo excited too when he made it on. He bonked his head on the height stick and then started jumping up and down for joy.

Our flight over California was great, as always. After this, it was time to head out, because the chillins' definitely needed a break.

Up next: Dessert, dessert, dessert...is there such a thing as too much?

Um. I don't know how I haven't been subbed to your TR all this time, I really thought I was. :confused3 Well, now I am! I have to get caught up, but I did read this last update, and Belle and Joaquin were so cute! :cool1:

Tangerine Cafe...I'm not sure I'm brave enough for that place...but Brandon really wants to go there this year, so we'll see!

LOL...that picture is ridiculous...you know the one I'm talking about! :rotfl: :rolleyes1

Yum, Grey Goose slushies then Soarin! 2 of my favorite Epcot things! :)

No worries, you're here now. :goodvibes It's hard to keep up with everything on the DIS sometimes.

He was so cute with her. He's a ladies man for sure.

I recommend Tangierine Cafe. It's really not that out there. I recommend the Lamb or Chicken wrap. That's really good if you're not too brave with food. :thumbsup2

I know EXACTLY what you're talking about.

I keep thinking about the Grey Goose slushie....

What a wonderful interaction with Belle. I especially liked the part where she goes in for a hug and he leaps into her arms, too dang cute!

The stroller races sound really fun!

Oh my word...the interaction with Belle is too precious!!!

Mmmm Grey Goose slushie!!!!!

The stroller races were fun, but man! I tell you, Chris and I just kept saying to each other that we were getting too old for that stuff. :rotfl: It was just way too hot.
