Happy Hump Day Peeps!! :cool1:

Safe travels to StepDisney and Magic!

Miss & MM: Kindergarten is indeed hard on us Moms!! However, having experienced the high school years, am siding with GG (and Babyberger) on this one ... there's just something about seeing your DS or DD driving and/or their classmates .. it really hits you in the gut.... they are not my babies or kids anymore ... they are becoming adults.

My Sam starts high school (9th grade) but in our school district, she stays in the middle school for one more year .... thank goodness!!

JanetB: What an amazing picture...thanks for sharing that.:flower3:

Janet  The Angel in the clouds pic was just what I needed to see, I saved it of course.

janetB: I saw that beautiful angel right away. :)

 I keep this pix on my dresser. I first shared it was Christine and another DISer 2 years ago, and knew it was the right time to share with all my RC friends.

Loved taking the boat into Universal! Although we made the mistake of walking to the parks one morning, and my older DS thought he would be helpful and put younger DS on his shoulders, helpful that was until he tripped and they both went down. We spent the morning in First Aid instead of Harry Potter :sad2: But still a great trip none the less.

:welcome: babyberger!! Yikes for your HP experience ... really too bad you guys did not have Hermione's time turner handy ::yes::

Hope you all were able to enjoy the day after that unexpected adventure. :)

Aloha Rcers! I've been following along but too brain drained to comment much lately. Thanks to all for the WDW well wishes. My ticker is empty, so I guess it's time to go to WDW. We leave mid-day for Poly. I am thinking Tuvalu will be where we bed down if our "grand gathering" works out as it should. Our travel buddies have already checked in there.

janetB, wdwkook, stepdisney, dani and i_heart: maybe our paths will cross in the great big wonderful World. Have wonderful vacations. :goodvibes

 Enjoy!! Will text you when I arrive!!

My Katie Bear (DD6) threw up at 1am and I've been up too...nap sounds great ::yes::

Hope Katie feels better soon ...

I still need some help! :rotfl2:

So, we are currently booked in a studio/standard view at Bay lake towers 12/7-12/15.

BLT is our home resort, yet we have only stayed there once, briefly. We liked it, but I feel like we didn't give it a fair shot, so DH wants to stick with out home resort. (The castle in Icecicle lgihts? :cloud9:)
However, I have been thinking of waitlisting us at Animal kingdom lodge, or wilderness lodge.....AHHHH....talk me into just staying at BLT. Or should I wiatlist and let fate decide??

Knowing me, one of my waitlists will come through and I will regret it!!!! :stir:

Lisa

Agree with Pas .... go for VWL!! :goodvibes

Hi to all RCers that I've missed!!

Good morning RC family!

It has taken a couple of days to process but we got as good of news as we could have hoped for. Some nodules grew a tiny bit (we are talking millimeters) and others shrunk. Nothing has spread to any other locations. I did not get treated this week, I have 3 bad fingers now (very inflamed and cracked) and a bad rash around my lips. This is all from the drug I am currently getting. He wants to give me a chance to heal. In the meantime he is gathering information, we will talk on Thursday and go from there. WDW trips aren't even in question, as he said "we treat you in order to take vacations, not to take them away". My kind of thinking. :goodvibes

NOW then, time to catch up :surfweb: on to more pleasant (or not in the case of a flea infestation) things!

Grumpy Grandma, I am so sorry those little critters won't leave. Good luck with the apartment search, it's "time to be movin' along" (couldn't resist). You must be so proud of your DD with all she is doing. She won't let those little critters get her down, :scared1:

pas, so happy you had such a great long weekend with your DH. Staying all 3, well 2 1/2 nights at the WL was the right choice. I am so excited to be staying there in January. I have stayed at WL several times but never CL. If I need a nurse with me in January, the job is yours (bed and snack room included!). Sorry about Katie , hopefully you both can nap today.

sjs, the weather has been so much nicer in NJ the past few days, hope it is the same for you in CT! :cutie:

Lot's of RC families just getting to WDW (step, i heart and magic), ::MinnieMo::MickeyMo some packing and leaving soon (kook and janet) :woohoo: and sadly other leaving Dani, :(

pas, thank you for keeping the page one list up to date. It makes it so much easier to see who is coming and going. :dance3:

Some WDW business to attend to today. Renew AP's and book my flights for January!!! :goodvibes Those are my kind of chores.

Hellooooooooooooooo ladies! :hyper:

Speaking of kiddos going to school and making us sad -- and me being a newb-mommy -- I'm just now discovering I need to label things! Y'all are experts at all of this! I am so clueless. :rotfl:

... WDW trips aren't even in question, as he said "we treat you in order to take vacations, not to take them away". My kind of thinking. :goodvibes

:goodvibes You've got a good doc. Hope complications from the meds gets sorted quickly for you. Yay for booking flights! :woohoo: Those ARE the best kinda chores. I owe you and Jen an email when I get back from therapy. :thumbsup2

MM: Oh, OH! WL & BC split? Where'd I read that? That would be so much fun... :stir:

Pas & Sheila: Hope you get your much-needed naps today.

Janet: When does Sam start back or is she back already? I donned a little dorky smile at you mentioning Hermione's Time Turner. :thumbsup2 I'm still checking out Universal hotel pricing for our January trip... hmmmm. Maybe we'll do a little IoA / Disney split if the price is right. Not holding my breath on any sales though! :lmao:

Miss: No rush on the email...hope therapy goes well:)

Pas: I am sorry to hear your kiddos are sick, hope they get over it quickly (and it is not HF&M!!! :faint:)

Candace: you know you are going to drive yourself bonkers!! :hyper: But in a good way! :goodvibes The not knowing about the construction is what makes it hard to commit yourself.

JanetB: safe travels!!!

DH came up and hugged me in the kitchen yesterday and squealed in my ear quietly that he is getting so excited for our trip...it was so cute, he is such a little kid himself. He is making the girls their t-shirts this week. Also excited for our adults weekend coming up on the 31st. I will try and post a picture of the dress I am going to wear to the wedding we are going to.

Hi to everyone else I missed!! Have a great Wednesday! :goodvibes

Sarah: So happy for you for the good news. But, I'm so sorry about the side effect you're having. I hope they begin to subside very soon for you.

I wrote a multiquo yesterday and don't know where it went! :confused3
I wanted to say hi and let you all know I'm still here with you in heart and mind, even if I don't have any changes going on right now!! ( slight road bump, in which I briefly thought about changing, but was quickly put back on track by our Dani ;) )

PAS: so sorry I won't be meeting you and lovely HRH in Sept, but I understand about life changes and doing things when they are best for everyone. :goodvibes our paths WILL cross one of these yrs!!

Sarah:  I'm praying for speedy healing. You humble me and I am so proud to know you, you are an inspiration.

I am so excited for when I get my new car :) thanks so much for everyone who weighed in. I decided to go with dependability over inside comforts, bit I still think I made the best choice choosing the Subaru. I think I'll be picking it up by next Thursday! :cool1:

EVEN BETTER: My trip is coming up in 43 days!!!!! :cool1: I am very excited, it will be my last vacation for a few yrs so we can get ahead on bills, so I will be sure to cherish every moment! I'm very lucky to even be going, and I am very thankful I have this trip :lovestruc

Happy Hump Day! :goodvibes

Ok, Here is a picture of my dress, hope this works, I am still rusty with the photobucket thing.;)

Back from "therapy" which is actually code for getting my shoulders and neck massaged. :rolleyes1

Wowsa, Jen! That dress is abso-flippin'-lutely GORGEOUS! Love that colour!

I also love that your hubs is getting excited about the trip! :thumbsup2 I'm getting small little hints from mine here and there... that he's at least thinking about it now. That's a big step for him. :lmao:

I know I can ask this here... totally not Disney-related but I know one of you experts will have some advice to offer! :goodvibes

I'm having an MRI done in a couple weeks. Never had one done. I'm not worried about the procedure itself but I am kinda-sorta a tad bit claustrophobic. Not majorly so -- but if my chest is being confined I tend to get anxious. I'm fine with elevators and such just not having my chest restricted. (For instance, one time I was on a packed commuter train, preggers and standing up with tall people pressed in all around me. That made me panic a bit. Yes, I'm silly. :headache: ) Should I call the ordering physician and tell them about it or try to deal with it by calming myself down? :faint:

Kinda clueless about the whole thing. :confused3

I'm with you on the fear thing...but I AM scared of this test! I don't like pain, and I can imagine my "girls" being squeezed to a pancake can't feel good! :scared1: it's one test I've put off because I just don't want to do it! I'm 42, and guessing I won't be able to put it off many more yrs.....but, oh.....I am soooo scared! :scared1:

Tell them. Medicine and tests have come a long way in the past years. If there is something they can do to avoid your discomfort they will. Open MRIs are an option I believe, our resident nurses may be able to chime in on that one. There is no harm in asking about options (there's alway Benedryl, you could sleep through the whole thing), there may be an easy solution, what you are talking about isn't all that uncommon. Good luck!

Jenny, the dress is beautiful!
