She's Your Daughter!!!! A Girls Trip -- Last Day & Departure Day -- Pages 76 & 77

Catching up!

That food at Coral Reef looks really yummy! I had never really considered eating there before but it does look good.

And love your weekend pics, too!

Great updates, Kathy! I haven't been to Coral Reef since 2007 and I miss it so much! I love it there! I keep thinking about adding on an extra day to our trip next year just so I can add in more ADRs! :sad2:

The pics of the girls crack me up! :rotfl2: They are just too funny!

I'm guessing you went back to the resort for a nap maybe and then headed out somewhere different after that...maybe DTD since it's just a boat ride away?

Responses later, but I just wanted to report I had my LAST appointment with my oncologist today and I have been officially released and taken off my medication. :goodvibes

Awesome news!! Congratulations and happy belated mother's day!

Hi Kathy. I had some catching up to do!! Congratulations on your doctors appt. I am so so happy for you!!:dance3:

I hope you had a great Mothers Day

Cute pics taken with the Disney hats on!!:thumbsup2

I have never once eaten at Coral Reef. That chocolate wave dessert though, could make me reconsider.....;)

Wow, you had a quite a trip, sorry I joined a few days ago and have now read your whole trip over my last few days to help them fly by!!! I cannot wait for your next installments!! But haha wow I was late in joining, guess I made the 74th page haha!! X:rotfl::cool1:

***Don't know why that first picture is sideways (I fixed it on photobucket and it keeps staying sideways).

Photobucket was doing this to me too for awhile. I'd fix pictures, rotate them, resize them, and they'd still show up the old way. After awhile they'd magically fix themselves, though. Weird.

Such adorable pictures! Love the ears!

And what beautiful pictures they are (especially that first one with the cuties!)! Sigh.... I miss that fountain!

I miss that fountain too...it just brings a smile to my face.

I saw this on Facebook but it deserves another YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!:banana::banana: SOOOOOO happy for you!!!!

Thank you, Brook.

We have yet to try Coral Reef, I always forget about it! Might have to try it soon, that chocolate wave does look divine.

The Wave was divine.

Looks like a fun meal at Coral Reef. Another of the many Disney restaurants I've still not visited. It's hard to work it in with all of the great World Showcase options in EPCOT though.

There are so many restaurants to choose from; after 20+ visits, we still have so many we still haven't tried (although there are a few we wouldn't try just because we don't care for the type of food (San Angel for example).

That is awesome news!!! Congrats, Kathy:cool1::banana::cool1::banana::yay::yay:

Thanks, Diane.

Oh, Kathy!! This is absolutely the BEST news!!! Happy tears for you! Congratulations!

Thank you, Christine.

Jasmine would agree with you wholeheartedly that the chocolate wave is the best dessert! She already said she doesn't know what she's going to have for dinner when we go but she does know that she's having that for dessert:goodvibes

Queen, I really liked the Chocolate on Chocolate Whiskey Cake at LeCellier, but the Wave was just as good.

I still see little bit of her jeans. And as any parent knows: the sun rises in the east, water flows downhill, and ketchup always finds the unprotected clothing. It's just simple physics.

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:Thanks for the science lesson.

It appears that the cake and the raspberries are no longer on speaking terms. :confused3

You were on a roll today, weren't you?

:woohoo: Such good news!

Thanks, Kelly.

Food looks good at Coral Reef!!! I am guessing with asleepy child you heaaded back !!!!

The food was very good, Rosie.

You've been the updating fool! The girls are just too cute.

I am so happy with your good news!! :cool1:

Yes, they are cute; and thanks for celebrating my good news with me.

Such wonderful news Kathy :banana::banana::banana::banana:

love your last updates....the fountains are so beautiful! we love coral reef too, the wave is my fav dessert too!

Thanks, Lisa.

I don't remember the Wave from our visit over 15 years ago.

Ok, all caught up now! Sounds like a really fun trip and those are two cute little girls!

Cute and loveable girls. :)

I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed Coral Reef. It's become sort of a tradition to eat there on our last Epcot day of each trip.

Lisa, I really enjoy it (I hope Mark does in September).

I forgot that you were there before they changed the FP system. :badpc:

Great pics!

We thought about Coral Reef in November but we just didn't fit it in. Maybe next time... you dessert looks delicious! popcorn::

Tim, Tim, Tim...you need to pay attention.

You really should try Coral Reef...Ana and Christopher would love watching the fish.

Excellent news from your doctor! :goodvibes Coral Reef looks yummy! And what I wouldn't do to be Soarin' right about now.

Thanks, Tina...I am thrilled it is all over.

CR is yummy.

I have been wanting to try Coral Reef again for awhile. Your desserts look amazing!

Poor Cayley falling asleep in the booth! Another fun filled, yet exhausting, day!

You must get to Coral Reef; I think the last couple of days were catching up to her.

All caught up again, Kathy!
I have not been around much, due to our trips to DLRP and Italy and now I am sitting in a hotel in Austria's lake district, using the early morning hours before breakfast and then it is off to my course again.

Best news from the doctors indeed and the update is great!
Love the picture of Caylee all wrapped up in her napkin, too cute!

Thanks, Karin. Hope you had great trips.

Soarin' >> Figment. :thumbsup2 Just sayin'.

I've always wanted to try Coral Reef. Not much of a seafood lover, but the atmosphere there with the big aquarium just looks really cool. I suppose if all else fails, I could have the chocolate thingy for dinner. :rotfl2:

There you go again...picking on Figment. ;)

They have a lot of other stuff besides fish (which is my favorite food) and the New York Strip looked REALLY good.

Safe travels, Kathy!

Thanks, Karin....it was an uneventful trip.

Safe travels and halve a fun weekend, Kathy!

Thanks, Christine. Unfortunately, it was a one day trip back and forth. :sad2:

Can you make me a batch !!!

Rosie, anytime. :)

Safe travels...enjoy being with the kids!

Thanks, Lisa. A short trip, but we had fun with the kids -- packed up the van, dinner and played Bags.

Responses later, but I just wanted to report I had my LAST appointment with my oncologist today and I have been officially released and taken off my medication. :goodvibes

Kathy,
I'm so behind in following your TR, but did want to post how happy I am to read this. That is simply the best news!

Cute! tell him he looks great in his ears!

I told him he was cute...he wasn't buying it. :lmao:

WOW I was so far behind!

I'm a bit late but I am sorry for your friend's passing. sucks just does not describe cancer quite right.

The "C" word is definitely not my favorite.

I love early flights --we take the day to relax, explore the resort, swim, nap. but I am totally :lmao:-- you know when you will arrive, leave, and where you will eat, but no word on where you will sleep! sleeping is over rated anyway:rotfl2:

Totally agree with this!

looks like the girls had a great time swimming, and everyone knows that pool time = massive appetite and then crash! so not entirely surprised that the girls were wiped at MK that night.

I know pool time wears me out.

cool shots of fireworks!

Thank you.

:thumbsup2 how's the new dog Mary? How is your female managing? do the girls love playing with both dogs now? pictures! please:goodvibes I love puppies!

MARY, where are you?

there are just so many stories to read!!! I made the mistake of subbing to the yacht and beach club FAQ thread - mistake only because it is one hopping thread and I want to read everything before we get there but not enough time!

With the going away Friday and things we had going on all weekend, I'm behind on all my TR's again.

That's awesome for Avery she must have loved that!

She did...she was in her element.

I know I liked this on FB but :woohoo::woohoo::dance3::cheer2:

Thank you.

yes, you ARE a good mom!!!

cute!

Thanks...he loves his mommy's cookies.

:thumbsup2 Cute photos of the happy couple and the mother of the groom!
I just LOVE the "ear" photo! :goodvibes

I think the ears will be a huge hit at the rehearsal.

Good choice going from the stinky ride to the orange smelling ride. A good way to cleanse the palate.

The chocolate wave is the best dessert ever! I had it for the first time in January. So amazing.

That is funny...smelling ride to orange smelling...awesome!

It was the first time I had it to and I can't wait to have it again in September.

Hi:flower3:!! Wish I was more of a chocolate dessert fan !!!:sad2:

Rosie, I'm not a big chocolate eater, but on occasion I go for it and I'm glad I chose it this time.

Happy Mother's Day

Thank you ladies. I hope you had a good Mother's Day.

What great pictures of Mark and Alisha!!!

Thanks, Ann.

Such a cute "ears" photo

Thank you, Jen.

Catching up!

And love your weekend pics, too!

You should give CR a try...it was very good and Reid would love watching the fish.

Thanks, Ali. I'm really happy Mary suggested Coral Reef. The girls had me in stitches often.

Nope, no nap, but you'll find out tomorrow.

Thanks for the congrats on my news, and thanks also for the Mother's Day wishes.

They lookha GREAT in their ears!!!!

Aren't they great?

You must go -- so, so good.

Wow, you had a quite a trip, sorry I joined a few days ago and have now read your whole trip over my last few days to help them fly by!!! I cannot wait for your next installments!! But haha wow I was late in joining, guess I made the 74th page haha!! X:rotfl::cool1:

:welcome::welcome: Thank you for joining. It is always nice to have a new reader. Next installment tomorrow.

Photobucket was doing this to me too for awhile. I'd fix pictures, rotate them, resize them, and they'd still show up the old way. After awhile they'd magically fix themselves, though. Weird.

Such adorable pictures! Love the ears!

Between photobucket and the DIS a few weeks ago, I was pulling my hair out.

Okay, an update will come tomorrow for sure. I have a project I'm doing on my bosses computer and while it is running, I can DIS.

When I last saw you, my DIS friends, we had just finished up a yummy lunch at Coral Reef and watched the fish in the tank. We were off to World Showcase as we had a few things we needed to take care of.

We stopped in Japan so that I could buy the girls their personalized fans which I had promised them. Here they are:

The girls on the bridge in Japan:

Mary and Avery went into the Caramel Shop in Germany and Cayley wanted to call Mr. Andy so we stayed outside. They talked for a few minutes and then I found a photopass photographer and had him take Cayley's and my picture (couldn't leave Cayley out since I'd had pictures taken with Av):

Once Mary and Avery came back, we were off to see a Bear...a Duffy Bear:

It was then off to Test Track where we had obviously gotten Fastpasses at some point (hey...the trip was almost four months ago...I can't remember everything :lmao::lmao::lmao:)

Continued in next post

After our wild ride on Test Track, the girls wanted to go back to Club Cool one more time. I didn't even want to go in, so I took some more pictures of the fountain (for you, Brook):

A short video (didn't watch it, so not sure how good it is):

GirlsTrip2012087.jpg

The girls were done in Club Cool and we decided we had done everything we wanted to do, so we were going to head out to Downtown Disney for dinner and more shopping. However, Cayley wanted one more ride with Miss Kathy on Spaceship Earth, so off we went (not sure where Mary and Avery went during this time???).

Up next, do we hop a bus to OKW and take the boat to DTD? Or do we catch a bus to SSR and walk to DTD? You'll have to come back to find out. :)

Kathy I love the photos of you and the girls in front of the ball, they are going to remember this special trip forever :goodvibes

I think you take the boat to DTD:thumbsup2

That kid in the front looks less than thrilled to have to sit next to an icky girl with cooties!:rotfl2:

After our wild ride on Test Track, the girls wanted to go back to Club Cool one more time. I didn't even want to go in,
WHAT?! You can never have too much Beverly!

It looks like you are having a great time with "your" girls! :thumbsup2

What a great picture of you with the girls!! All of you are very photogenic.(sp)??

Aw Test Track. It was closed when we were there a few weeks ago.

I'm going to guess & say you took a boat to DTD. (of course I am usually wrong so you probably walked).;)

Do those girls ever take a bad picture? No! They are all so cute!

Love the fans! They are so pretty.

It looks like such a gorgeous weather day! Wow!

So sweet that Cayley wanted one more ride with Miss Kathy! :thumbsup2
