She's Your Daughter!!!! A Girls Trip -- Last Day & Departure Day -- Pages 76 & 77

So we got my park ticket and the girls got their AP's and we were on a mission -- we were all starving. We were going to go to WPE but couldn't remember where it was located and since I forgot my glasses and the girls were starving, we decided just to head to EOS.

That's a heck of a consolation prize. I just head straight for EoS no matter what.

I was so happy about this because I LOVED EOS after our first time there in September.

I had the Ham and Swiss Cheese as I did in September, and it was just as delicious as last time.

Mary's sandwich (I forgot what she ordered):

The kids had PBJ, Fruit Cup and milk:

No Hawaiian BBQ? :sad2:

After dinner, we decided we were all crashed and that it was time to head back to the resort...

NOT! Hey, we are girls afterall (as Glenn pointed out). It was time to shop.

 :faint:

You have to wait until I'm sitting down before you go springing shocks on me like that.

I truly cannot remember if I bought anything this night. I may have picked up my 2012 magnet, but I don't remember.

Can't yell at me for not remembering what you did with your luggage, then. I am officially off the hook! :woohoo::cool1::banana:

Once back, we stopped at Old Key West for some medicine for me and some donuts and milk for the girls for breakfast.

I think you were close enough that Ghirardeli could have made for a good breakfast spot.

They unpacked (I lived out of my so-called "carry on")

"Carry-on", you say? When did you pick that up? :confused3 :rotfl::rotfl2:

I wish I had some EoS in front of me right now!

Oh and BTW.... you gave away that you were going shopping in the title of the update!!! :lmao::lmao:

The girls look so cute trying on all those hats! :goodvibes:goodvibes

I loved DTD almost as much as the parks. We didn't get to spend much time there though since we had too many of the non-shopping sex with us. But Mom and I planted them by a fountain and did get to spend a little money in World of Disney at least. Next time I am leaving the boys at the room and shopping by myself! :rotfl:

EoS was on my list too, but we had just had a big breakfast, so we settled for icecream for lunch instead. Love that Ghiradelli! :)

Oh, it's over there by that thing-a-ma-gig, next to that place with the door. You know, across the path from that place where that guy did that thing a few years ago.

I was so happy about this because I LOVED EOS after our first time there in September.
Excellent choice. :thumbsup2
I really prefer Pepsi
:crazy2:
I'd stop reading right now if Ryder's headware wasn't an issue.

I KNEW IT!! I WAS RIGHT!! AND YOU ALL LAUGHED AT ME!!!
:cheer2::cheer2:party::jumping1:

Ah, crap. :headache:

From there it was off to the biggest Disney store at DTD. It was decided we had to make Mr. Mark proud:
It wouldn't be KatMark without Silly Hats. :thumbsup2
Mary and the girls decided they needed some dessert. And where else do you stop when at DTD for dessert? Well, no place but Ghirardelli's.
EOS and Ghirardelli's: the meal of champions. ::yes::

Nice update… :goodvibes

Excellent choice of venues for dinner and dessert (DisDad Approved)… :thumbsup2

A fine evening of rummaging through the shops… ;)

Sorry you were in need of meds (may that nonsense clear up quickly)…

But, the question still remains…

Was my “typical guy response” wrong? :scratchin

I think not.

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Not even close to being caught up but putting my 'stamp' on your TR so you will know I'm working on it!!!

Yay! I'm all caught up!:woohoo:

Looks like the surprise of Ms Kathy being on the trip went off without a hitch! Love those sweet smiles on everyone's faces! :thumbsup2

Cute cute pics of Andy and Des, too! Hope they are having/had a good time there!!!

Mary - this child needs to be a model. I can't even stand HOW CUTE she is in this picture! OMG! She is precious!

Kathy - I love the pictures of Andy and Des. What a wonderful week they are having. Sounds like a total blast and I am sure you are thrilled for him.

Ladies - lovely first evening! Nothing better than DTD to start off a trip the right way, especially when it ends with shopping and ice cream!

I know your feelings on the matter, but this is one great picture!!! You have to admit they look good together in this one..... ;)
I see the comedian is still here.
:guilty:

Like so many others we haven't done this one, even though it has been on my "gotta try sometime" list! Just never worked it into the schedule. :confused3
I had the Ham and Swiss Cheese as I did in September, and it was just as delicious as last time. I got chips as well and they were fresh this time (last time they were stale) with a Diet Coke (I really prefer Pepsi but what can you do?).
Maybe I shouldn't tell you we have this in common since I'm apparently not high on your list right now......... :sad1:
After shopping there, we headed to Goofy's Candy Store for some yummies for the girls and I got a coffee:
You got COFFEE??? :confused3
Continued from previous post....

Not trying to single out one of your cuties Mary, but this is about as adorable as it gets!!!

Then it was off to the Lego Store:

Any Wooden Marv sightings while you were there??? I hear it is one of his favorite places to hang out....... :goodvibes

I did not do EOS this time around, but I do love them! That Goofy hat picture it too funny!

Love the pics of Andy and Des, they are making me wish I was in Disney right now!

Mmm, EoS! I love the Ham and Swiss sandwich, it's one of my favorites! I love that place so much, I really wish there was on in CT! Hmm, I wonder if I could convince Brandon to go to NYC this weekend, just to go to EoS! :rotfl:

Aww, the hat pictures of the girls are too adorable! Can't wait to read about your first day at the parks!

Sorry I have been missing lately but its all for a good reason! LOL I am in the process of applying for the Disney College Program for this Fall! I have a phone interview on Sunday and then I get to find out if I make it! Then I will be able to meet all you DISers this Fall!

Now onto the update! I love EOS! It is my favorite QS in DTD! I really like the Italian! And you guys look like you are having a great time:goodvibes I can't wait to hear about the rest of your trip!

Mmmm, Earl of Sandwich. Great choice. I always get lost going to WPE and forget where it is! However, I think I could be considered an expert now, because when I went with my brother in November, we ate there four times. Crazy, I know, but we were on the QSDP and figured it would be a great value.

Of course you went shopping! I would have too. Seriously, what's the point of being a girl if you're not going to invoke that right.

Ah, thanks Mary Ellen. She is pretty cute. She looks great in hats. I amost bought that one for her but then she never wears them. It was a really fun first night.

How exciting!! Please let us know how your interview goes!!

Mary, are you doing an update for he end of ourfirst night? Or should I proceed with our first day tomorrow (I should have some free time in the early afternoon; I have my mammogram at 7:45 a.m.).

Thanks, Bob. September was our first visit to EoS and it is now a must-do for us. I've never had dessert at Ghiradelli's (chocolate and I don't always agree, and I'm not big on vanilla).

Congratulations on the 60 lbs...that is awesome. :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2: I'll try to forewarn the next time when there is going to be food porn.

Chocolate, I love chocolate. Nothing is better than a banana split with three different scoops of chocolate covered with chocolate syrup; the decadence of chocolate is almost complete euphoria, the richer the better.... The chubby kid who fell into the river of chocolate in Willy Wonka would be a role I could have played so well. :rotfl2:

I just posted on my FB page the other day that I could really go for an EoS for dinner that night! Love them. Will definitely be enjoying one next week. Not going to lie, the girls' PB&J looked pretty darn tasty. :)
Loved the DTD pics. One of my favorite places in the entire world.
