She's Gonna Party, A June 2025 Copper Creek PTR

Today is our single digit day! We are nine days from leaving for Disney World!

I’m not to the completely overwhelmed loose my mind stage yet but we’re a couple days out from that.

It isn’t quite as alarming as it could be since we have made some good progress around the house and we still have tomorrow to do some more laundry and maybe start packing. Either way, next weekend is gonna be busy.

More of Allie’s Etsy shirts have come in, but we are still waiting for one and one came in as the complete wrong shirt. She could be Nana, but it definitely is not the shirt she was looking for.

Poor Allie, she opened the package and saw the pink shirt and knew that it wasn’t what she ordered.

As far as trip planning, the one deadline remaining is our Fastpass morning on Tuesday. It will be our first time pre-reserving them under the new system.

I’m glad they brought back reserving them hopefully this means a little more sleep in the mornings.

Except for Tuesday, which is a work morning for me...

Is it weird to say that it’s more fun to think about Disney before work than before Disney?

I still gotta get up mand make the decisions, but it will be neat to know what we have before we arrive.

We only have a couple priorities as far as rides go and we’re only planning on purchasing Lightning Lane multi pass for one day of the trip.

Yes, we think we will do MultiPass for our day when we arte going to be spending most of it at Magic Kingdom. We decided to pre book Tiana's so that we can finally get to ride it.

And the only other real must do for us is Guardians so we’re going to purchase the single pass for that.

Yes, that is our one top ride priority of the trip after we finally rode it for the first time last year. It is a real crowd pleaser for us, and all four of us loved it. It will be fun to see what song we get this time.

I’m excited to see if we get the same song or something new.

We think we are not going to do lightning lane for AK, as it will be a short visit and we don't really care about Everest or Flight of Passage. We'll ride our safaris and check out some animals and then likely head out after lunch at Yak and Yeti.

It should be a pretty quick trip but we’ll have fun. We have packing to do but the trip is almost here!

It is coming up really quick!

I hope Allie gets her shirts in time. She has an entire wardrobe that depends on it. :)

Do you have any plans to go to Fort Wilderness? It would be interesting to see what the construction of the new DVC resort is doing to the campground.

Yeah, she had it all planned out and we ordered early, but I guess not early enough. The missing shirts are a monorail one and the tinkerbelle one she was going to wear twice. It will be ok, we still have a week and they do sell cool shirts there too.

We really do want to go over there, and I will get there at some point. We discussed planning for a Trails End dinner, but couldn’t make it fit. I still would like to go see what’s going on as they build the new resort. I expect that most of the work will be within the fenced area, but eventually I bet it will connect nicely with the beach behind Hoop De Doo. I was just looking at pictures from 2018 when they started the project, so it will be great to see it making progress again.

The curated outfits is such a big thing now. DD gets into it and I saw lots of cute outfits in the parks. One group of girls did a whole Toy Story theme with different shirts, ears and colored tennis skirts. It was really cute.

I got the same Brixley bag for our trip but in beige. It worked really well!!

Looks like it’ll be a great trip!! It’s always so stressful right before a Disney trip. We recently stayed in WL (Boulder Ridge) for 2 weeks for the first time ever and absolutely fell in love. We were on the 4th floor and had a great view of the pool and the lake. Its my new favorite resort. I love the boat to MK, Geyser Point, the theming…it’s just amazing. Having a car is nice though because we ended up sharing busses with either the Contemporary or FW every day. You can go directly to the park. We also did an After Hours party, but at MK. It was the highlight of our trip! Have a great trip! My view from the 4th floor:

Yeah Allie has always been really into her park outfits. Melissa got her started young with some really cute dresses.

That’s great. We are looking forward to trying it.

How did multipass day go?
It was very good, actually one of the smoothest Disney online processes I have done. We decided all we wanted was multipass on our MK day and Guardians on our first Epcot day. I did Guardians first and got it for 10:50-11:50 on June 5th. Then I seamlessly switched to June 6th and booked the multi pass and went with Tiana’s, Haunted Mansion, and Pirates and it automatically gave us 9:25-10:25 HM, 10:25-11:25 Pirates, and 1:55-2:55 Tiana’s.

That’s great you had such a nice long trip. We fell in love with it on our honeymoon in 2009 and could not wait to make it back. Once we got to go back we have been going as often as we can, and it really is my favorite place anywhere. We did a bunch of trips without a car and fully relying on Disney transportation, but we do like having the option of driving, especially to Disney Springs and other resorts. It saves so much time compared to multiple bus trips.

We’re really excited to do our first after hours party and are glad that it worked out so well for you. We would love to do one at MK sometime. This could start a trend.

Chiming in to say Happy Friday and have SO MUCH FUN on your upcoming trip! I so want to start planning---do you feel like planning is a huge part of it all? It's so fun :) Anyway, I will be living vicariously through you again, I hope you have the best time. In EPCOT when passing by Les Halles, give it a salute from me: that chocolate mousse is to die for, ha. Will be looking forward to the eventual trip report!!

Hello again! We definitely feel planning and looking forward to a trip is a huge part of the fun. We have friends who just went for a spontaneous Memorial Day trip, and I just couldn't wrap my head around it. How do you miss out on all the planning? It worked out fine and they had fun, but I would much rather look forward to it for longer.

We'll think of you and visit Les Halles. Look for it in the TR. :)

Such a fun Pre TR!! Happy Friday. I have stayed at many resorts, never at Wilderness. Will have to put it on my list!
Welcome! WL is just our favorite, and one of my favorite things to do is get up early and walk around the resort and take pictures while it is quiet. It makes such a contrast with the busy parks, and is so calm and beautiful in the mornings. It is also neat to still just be a short boat ride from MK.

Here we are at three days to go!

We have been BUSY. School is finally out at least for the summer.

Marshall described it perfectly this morning, saying that it is “the storm before the calm”.

This is true.

Actually the cleaning and packing and yard work has been going pretty well, and nothing has been too frantic.

For those of you following along, you’ll be glad to hear that one of Allie’s missing shirts arrived today.

She’s still down one since the one came in with a Nana graphic, but this gives her some more options.

She also raided Paul’s old shirt stash and found a couple to bring.

There are a few of my favorites that I outgrew, so I'm glad she will get some use out of them.

I think I’m behind everyone else in the packing race.

That is typical, because you have been taking care of the house and getting Marshall all packed, and I think his stuff is already in suitcases.

I did have some last minute packing drama when I realized my relatively new shoes that I was wearing today made my toes hurt. I was planning on them being my main Disney shoes, but I am thinking they aren't gonna cut it.

I had to take some Amazon returns back to Kohl's so we did some last minite shoe shopping.

You grabbed every pair in my size that looked decent, and we finally found some Adidas ones that are comfortable.

We did a fun thing and picked our meals for our flight there. You have a lot more options if you pre-order your meal on United.

Yes! I had a tough choice between the Korean BBQ Short rib and a cheesy beef sandwich, but the sides sounded better for the sandwich so I went with it.

I went with the Alfredo Manicotti. I am hoping pasta was a safe choice. Marshall was insistent that we get him chicken.

And I think Allie went with the same pasta you did. We'll find out how they are in a couple of days.

Now back to packing and laundry. I've got two bathrooms to clean and five more loads of laundry...

It's a good thing that you found out about your shoes in time to get new ones. :)
Yeah, I bought those other ones about a month ago and had been breaking them in, but wore them all day yesterday and they just were tight. That’s ok, the new ones seem good and I am wearing them all day today.

Getting so excited for you all! I absolutely love the days before vacation, when it starts to feel "real". Eeeekkkkk, so fun!
It’s fun when you can finally see the light and realize the trip is almost here. It feels like we look forward to the trips for so long, but about a week before we go the work we have to do takes the focus for a bit until we get to the breakthrough point where it feels like it will all be worth it. We’re right there and enjoying it.

Our Sunday mornings almost always involve watching Disney Food Blog news videos, and this morning we had the one we wait for all year:

It looks like there’s a pretty good chance of rain all week, with afternoon thunderstorms. Sounds like Florida in the summer.

We’re ready for hot and wet, as long as we’re away from work.

Have a great flight and super fun vacation! Will be thinking of you all - enjoy everything!!!! Hopefully it doesn't rain the whole time for you. Even so, I would just go with it, knowing I'm in the happiest place in the world :flower1: HAVE THE BEST TIME!!!!!!!!!!!
