Okay, seeing as no-one else has volunteered here goes!!
If you are travelling from the western end of the 192 (especially from villas of of US27) then this route is accessed from Black Lake Rd off of the 192. It is one or two traffic signals from the huge Orange Lakes Resort and is clearly sign posted before the lights. You will need to make a left turn into Black Lake Road and it does have its own filter light. Follow Black Lake Road to its conclusion (about 1m). You will be at an intersection. There will be a Mcdonalds on your right and the Holiday Inn Maingate West ahead of you. Turn LEFT into Sherberth Rd. (If you are coming from EAST on the 192, look for the signal for Entry Point Rd / Sherberth Rd).
Sherberth road takes you past some Disney out buildings and there are sometimes small Disney markers out directing CMs into various areas....ignore these and carry on. There are a few nasty s bends so take care. The road ends in an intersection. DO NOT GO STRAIGHT AHEAD!! Turn left ONLY for Animal Kingdom LODGE not the park. RIGHT will take you to all the parks. Take the first immediate left turn (NOT SIGN POSTED and looks just like a U-turn) for Animal Kingdom. Procced another few hundred yards and you will see all the other theme parks sign posted.
Not QUITE sure how you can get lost on Sherberth Rd as it isnt very long and there are no turnings other than the Disney out buildings!!???
NOTE: If you are staying out on the US 27, you can bypass the whole eastern section of the 192 by taking exit 65 off of the I-4 (signed Gaylord Palms and Osceola Parkway). Follow the signs to Animal Kingdom Lodge and simply make the turn into Sherberth Rd right before the Lodge (this isnt signed from this direction, but if you end up at the gates to AKL (about 20 seconds away!), just turn round and do a right!!
Hope that helps....feel free to ask any specific questions or if anything isnt clear.
Allie.
PS. The reason this road isnt "publicised" by Disney, is that it is an "entry point" for Cast Members. You will see a lot of buses in some of the out buildings that transfer CMs around "the World". They certainly dont want this route becoming too popular with the masses or the CMs wouldnt get to work! Saying that, there is A LOT more traffic on it these days than in the past, so its getting more known!
