Has anyone ever stayed here? We are staying at Disney for the first several nights, & then we are going to the Sheraton Vistana Villages for 4 nights 5 days. I know they are going to try & sell me a timeshare, but what are the accommodations like?

What do I need to bring? Grocery stores?

We loved the Vistana Villages! We had a 2BR villa, very spacious and immaculately clean. We did a grocery run right up the street. The location is great. 10-15 minutes to the WDW gates in one direction, 10-15 minutes to US/IOA in the other. SeaWorld is diagonally across the street.

They have a wonderful pool with a waterfall, a volleyball net on one end and the opposite has a wonderful zero depth entry for toddlers with those squirty things that come up from the ground. THere is a playground and a good deli, the lobby and grounds are gorgeous.

You really don't need to bring anything, I believe coffee was even a stock item.

We booked through Hotel Kindgom at the time and did not require us to attend a timeshare.

Hope this helps :wave2:

We are staying there for the second time in 3 weeks. I can hardly wait! Our last visit was awesome and there was no pressure to attend a time share meeting. We simply said no thank you - we are on a holiday and don't wish to waste any time - including yours. Besides we are Canadian and the exchange makes it hard to purchase in the US. The location is perfect for WDW, SeaWorld or Universal. There is a SuperWalmart up on John Young Parkway (about 10 minutes away) and we find their groceries way less money than Publix (across the street) You will love it there and may find yourself wanting to go to the timeshare meeting to buy one! :rotfl:

Thank you, I was getting nervous. I have looked, but I cannot find any pictures online & my daughter wants to see the pools. Does anyone know if the pool has a slide?

Love V V and have stayed there 4 out of the last 5 years. Would stay there again but I cannot find any deals. It was worth it even if I had to take the timeshare tour which as of this date I have not done. Most I have paid for a 2 bedrm was 139(first year they opened) least I paid was 4 nights 5 days for 129.oo last year. I am spoiled and cannot find anything even close to that now that it has become popular.

Any suggestions on where/how to get a good deal on a villa in Vistana Villages. Looking for a 2BR in mid-June.
Thanks

I belong to Starwood, & they sent us an invite to stay 5 days 4 nights in a 1 bedroon Villa for $169.00 total not per night. I was a little worried, now I am very excited!

Say - has anyone tried renting a time share - I've seen several for Vistana on www.redweek.com & www.tug.com. We're looking to go later this year & these prices look great. However we've never rented a timeshare before so I'm nervous about doing so - any advice?

Now - here's another question - What's the difference between Vistana Village & Resort. Also is there a map of the resorts or someway I can evaluate the rental we're looking at (the Lakes/Cascade & Fountain sections were mentioned - how do I know what these are like, how old they are, etc?).
