If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated. I just received my room assigment for our up coming trip.

Does anyone know, where room 2466 is located? Building number? Is it a good location, near a pool?

FYI I did a search & found a map, of the cascades, & the numbers are so tiny I can't read it. I called the vistana, & could not tell me where or what number building it was in.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

I take you got an exchange thru II not RCI.

it looks like it is directly behind the check in area. the pool is not too far.

Pat is right..........
You are a little bit of a walk....you are on one of the edges of the Cascade section.

If you are looking at the map on the SVO website, it will zoom in pretty tight. Then you can read the numbers.

sorry they took the one off their site and I can't find the one on tug either.

to late for the diamond check in - but you might consider it for next time.

Ok....I've done my best to scan the Cascades section from a map I have. Hope this helps.

I circled the villa number, the lobby/check-in area (lower right corner), Cascades security gate, and the Cascades pool.

WOW Thanks Maria :thumbsup2 I feel like VIP. I am going to see if I can get a better room closer to the pool when I get there. Wish me luck

Thank you again so much for all your help. I am printing it out now, as I type.

Will let you know how I make out next week.

Hi,

Just came back from the Vistana. Loved the room location 2455 Cascades.
Pool was close, the lobby close. Condo & parking is near the entrance. We learned our room key opens the gate to enter the lobby parking lot. Nice short cut.

Down side Vistana was very crowed this week, was hard to find chairs by the pool. No music at the pool.

Up side close to the parks,(5 minutes) resturants Walmart. Loved the rooms, washer dryer kitchen and jaczzi. Staff couldn't do enough for us. Securty gates were very alert. They have a computer in the lobby, to print out your boarding passes. Staff is very accommodating. Wonderful place. :thumbsup2

Hi Patricia....
Welcome back and thanks for the report. My dd is in wdw right now (AS Sports) on her HS senior class trip. She said the parks are very crowded. This week is spring break for FL schools my friend told me---who is also down there right now. BUT....that is no excuse for no music at the pools !!!

There were many activies, for Easter week. I was very impressed. We played golf, & rented the bike built for 2 and had a blast.

Really, I wasn't complaining about no music. (though I think it would be really nice if they did, giving it that Caribbean feel)

My only complaint was, they should have more beach chairs. We went to 2 different pools until we found a pool with a few chairs. (we had to hunt them down)

The place is really nice, clean safe & can't do enough for you. It's in the center of everything.

Yes, Disney was very crowed. The Magic Kingdom was open till 1:00 am a few times last week. We went to MK at 5pm & by 10:00 the park emptied out after the parade & wishes. There was a second parade at 11:00 pm. It was unbelievable. By 11:00 pm most rides were walk ons.

We were picked by the Dream Team & were treated to VIP rides. It really was a Magical trip. :woohoo:

This will be our second year as owners at Vistana Lakes and we loved it last year. We went in February so it was quiet. We are looking forward to seeing our newly refurbished unit - hope it was worth the special assessment

We are looking forward to spending more time at the resort this year. Glad to hear folks are happy when they trade into the resort, we are proud to be owners.

How fun Patricia :thumbsup2

I can honestly say......in all our numerous trips to Vistana (almost yearly since 1994), we have never encountered not being able to get a chair by the pool. It must have been really crowded !
