Hi! I'm new to the site and a Disney newbie. I have a wide.range of questions so I'm hoping someone can help.

We're debating on flying or driving 21 hours with a toddler. Either way we'll need the carseat. What do parents of toddlers do on shuttles?

We're staying at the Sherton Vistana Resort in a timeshare. Any experiences here? Do they have several dinning options? Do they offer meal packages? Are there activities for toddlers?

Besides Disney, where else us a "must go" for a 3YO? Any advice on saving money?

Hi Munchies Mom, welcome to DISBoards!

First up, some advice. There are a lot of forums here with experts in many areas. You are welcome to post often, so post your questions where they will get the most traffic. I would post your question about car seats for toddlers over in the transportation forum. Your question about Vistana would go in the parent of this forum; this one is primarily for reviews and doesn't get much traffic. For savings questions there is a huge forum over at Budget Disney.

I can help a bit with the Vistana question. They do have several dining options, but no dining plan. There is a food court in the North section of the resort with a few fast food chain counters; and there is delivery in the resort, although it is a bit slow. There are also two sit down restaurants; both are fairly casual and have outdoor seating by the pools as well as indoor. If you are walking, there are a couple of restaurants nearby; with a car your options open widely.

As far as activities for toddlers, I would say it is limited. They do have an activities program but it is often aimed at older kids. There are a few craft type things during the week that might be appropriate. The little ones do really seem to enjoy the Cascades pool. It has a big very shallow end (about 3-4 in.) with fountains that kids love to splash around in.

Finally, for the toddler set I might also recommend the new Legoland theme park. It opens this fall and is aimed at the entire Lego generation from toddler up. Worth checking out if is open when you go!

Have a great trip.
