Hi there,
Can any one tell me whether there are fridges in the rooms at Sheraton Safari?
DD loves a drink of milk at night and in the morning but is only able to drink lactose reduced milk.
Are there fridges or will I need to dash to Publix every day? :cool1:
Thanks.

there was no fridge in the room when i stayed here in july 2004.that was the only drawback to the hotel. we brought a small cooler from home and had to fill it with ice alot to keep things cold. i don't know if they have since put refrigerators in any of there rooms. they do have a website and you can send them an email. they didn't respond when i sent them an email about refrigerators you might have better luck. hope this helps.

We were there in December on a Priceline stay and did not have a fridge in our regular room. I believe there are suites that have refrigerators.

I think the cooler idea sounds fine - why didn't I think of that?!
We have friends in Orlando who will be meeting us at the resort - I'll ask if they have one we can borrow. Failing that I know I've seen cheap ones for sale in the big supermarkets that we can leave behind when we return home :flower1:
Are there ice stations in the hotel?
Thanks.

The suites have refrigerators with little freezer sections. There's also a semi-expensive grocery store nearby.

There is a Goodings literally 3 doors down. Not all rooms have fridges, however I thought it was a great hotel!!

Better yet, if you go out the front door of the hotel and turn right, then go 2 blocks, you'll find a newer Winn-Dixie Market which is far less expensive than Goodings. We stayed there last April (will be there again next month) and there was no frig in our room. The cooler chests are a great idea - we have used them and do not feel guilty when we leave them at the end of the trip. Have a great time. Caroline :teacher:

Fantastic :D
When we travelled 2 years ago we stopped off at Publix on the way to the apartment and picked up milk and bread so we might do the same again on the way in. After that I should hopefully be able to 'pop up the road' to buy milk from what you say  Rather that than try to tell DD (6) that she can't have her daily milk fix :earboy2:
