Sheraton Safari Discounted Rates

How do you get them? I see that people usually get this hotel for a bargain, but I cannot find anything less than $109 a night. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

The good deals are often on Priceline--but you risk getting another hotel instead (see betterbidding.com or biddingfortravel.com). I think if you go to the Sheraton site and click on some of the specials (AAA, etc) you can sometimes get the deals that way. Also try flyertalk.com to see if anyone on the SHeraton boards has any ideas.

Check the Sheraton safari web Site if you are AAA member summer rates as low as 79.00 per night great value for this hotel. Go to the left hand side of screen and click on reservations this will take you to the Sheraton hotels main web page enter your dates and check AAA rate.

I think that I got my $79 rate right through the online AAA travel reservations. So if you have that available to you...

The HI in DTD is booking their guests in the Shearton. Until the HI opens in DTD the Sheraton might not have as many empty rooms to discount as in the past.

Thank you so much,Jaynerita, I was able to book 2 rooms at the special price for our arrival night in October. I almost booked it at my CAA rate of $85. on the weekend, I am glad I waited!

Thank you! I was going to bid on it. This is much better. The cancellation policy is generous, if we get good AP rates at Disney.

Does anyone know..do they ever upgrade your room upon check in?

I read that at least one poster was upgraded because they are Starwood Preferred Guests. I signed up for my free membership last night, just in case!
