Sheraton Park Hotel @ Anaheim Resort

Has anyone stayed at this hotel? We can use points there, so considering it. How close is it to Disneyland? It is nice? How is the pool? Thanks!

If you are going to use points, consider using points for club level. You have to phone starwood but you can book club level for 8,000 points rather than 7,000. With club level you get a higher floor, breakfast, hors d'oeuvres and a few other perks. We are going down in September.

I haven't but have considered it. There is another recent thread on this if you go a few pages back or search. It is within walking distance, but on the longer side, slightly further than HoJo's. Some people say its near the Disney lot so they can use the Tram. Apparently it is fairly nice. If distance doesn't matter and cost does then its probably a good option.

I have a res. there (and elsewhere) but I'm leaning toward onsite for the EE and the walk through Downtown Disney instead of Harbor. But I'm sure we'd be fine at Sheraton if we need to prioritize saving the $2k.

It is a nice hotel. I prefer to stay closer at the Best Western Park place Inn, Anaheim Inn or Hojo but since I can stay at Sheraton for free on points we have used this hotel as well as the Sheraton Anaheim.
The Sheraton Park looks a bit dated on the outside in some parts but the interior is very modern and nice. The rooms are comfortable and well decorated. We have only had a room facing south but the north facing rooms that are higher up have nice views of the Disney Parks. The walk to the parks is just a bit long, certainly doable but we tried ART last time and it worked good too.
The least favorite part here is (if you bring a car) their valet parking is not well run. It seems there is usually only one person and they have a ways to run to get your car. If there are a few people waiting it can take 15 minutes to get your car.
