sheraton anaheim/ fireworks?

WE are booked to stay at the Sheraton Anaheim aug 11-14, I requested a room with a fireworks view , and am wondering if that is ok. I understand t is on a freeway , would we be right over the freeway? Could anyone recommend , or advise me on this hotel.. /thanks .

This hotel is in a very nice looking hotel (from the outside). It is right next to the on ramp to the freeway. I am not sure how good of a view of the fireworks you will have though, the parking structure and other buildings are in front of the hotel (accross the street). The good news is that you should be able to walk accross to the parking structure and board a tram to the parks, if you want.

Do you mind telling me what rate you got? I am looking for a place for our July (moved from August) trip. I will probably end up getting a room on priceline, but I always like to have a back up just in case. I saw this hotel on our last trip and I want to stay there.

Because the freeway is sort of behind the hotel and the fireworks are shot of more toward the front, if you get a "fireworks" view room it should be more toward the front of the hotel. There are not very many rooms that face the fireworks and this will give you a view of the parkinglot. I had a courtyard view room in the middle of the hotel and could not here the freeway. The rooms in the annex section behind the hotel would probably be the worst for freeway sound.

P.S. The hotels address is 900 South Disneyland Drive, Anaheim. If you enter this into Mapquest.com and then at the top of the map click on ariel photo you can see the hotel and how it relates to Disneyland.

thank you everyone for the replies, to answer rates question, I got a package including ultimate park hopper tickets and airport transfer with super shuttle for 2 adults and 1 child. The total package for 3 nights stay and tickets , transfers was 630. from AAA. I am happy with that.
