I have just seen in Facebook that Shellie Mae was at DLP last night with Duffy this has me very excited.

Doubt it.... As u say bout the us parks.... She's not well known enuf for them to stock her... Struggling enough I think with the general duffy popularity (or lack of)

I thought that. I thought duffy was quiet a big deal in the US parks. Ok not like princess queue for them big. I wonder why they introduceed in Paris and not WDW or DL.

I expect she's there as part of that private event which I believe is culminating at DLP. I wouldn't expect to see any merchandise arriving as I don't think she was being introduced to the general public although they may have seen her from a distance.

Got particularly excited when I saw the photos of Carl Russell and Dug.
I love UP and especially Dug BTW

but know that we've no chance of seeing them either !
Although I understand that regular guests did get the opportunity for short meet and greets in the afternoon.

I was also excited to see the guys from UP. Since the costumes are made maybe DLP could keep them.....? Be an awful waste to just abandon them in a wing of some far flung castle.
If not I've seen the cutest Russell outfit so I'll make do with dressing my DS up!

Sorry but us normal average people won't be special enough to meet these characters - we pay our own way and our money isn't good enough. And Jessica Rabbit looks like a freak that should be in the Chucky films!
Its lovely the Prince can get these characters into DLP, but I'm extremely glad I'm not going tomorrow as quite frankly, I'd have three kids having a meltdown they couldn't get close because of the blaggers.

I think it all finished today, so by the time we arrive on Sunday it should be back to normal. I do hope so because apparently some parts of the park were actually closed to guests yesterday!

And yes, Jessica rabbit I'm sure has put paid to a lot of men's previous desires of her.... She's enuf to induce nightmares!!!!

Wud b nice if, the costumes remain in dlp, and we get to c them... Especially up characters, as really it is a lovely film, and loads of kids love it.... Very popular!!!

But then again, don't u agree wud just be nice to have lots of characters out like there used to be, before all the vicious scrubs killed them off n now it's mostly organised meets

I've avoided most pics, no point in staring at sumthin ill never b able to afford/see but I personally wud have loved dug and roger rabbit lol

I have heard that all the non usual DLP characters are being shipped back to the US next week. They were only flown over for this special event.

But Shellie May is going to be staying at DLP, apparently she is going to be soft launched in Paris and there will be some Shellie May merchandise available at DLP in time for Christmas.

Maybe Disney Parks are going to see what the response in Paris is like first before trying to launch her in the US.

This is just a rumour mind you, so only time will tell. Shellie May might just be put back into her box and launched at a later date, but from what I've been told the 'costume' is to stay in Paris.

OMG she's really terrifying! Anyone familiar with the late American drag queen actress Divine from the movie Pink Flamingoes?

Maybe the Jessica Rabbit costume designer has a thing for John Water's movies?
