Anyone know when it is likely to be open for the public or if it has been doing any testing with riders yet? This thing looks awesome - I've seen some cool pics of the ride in testing. Can't wait to ride this next month (fingers crossed!!)

Yep, due to open 21st may We are planning a trip to Busch Gardens on the 26th May, and i'm looking forward to riding Sheikra

The drop reminds me of Oblivion at Alton Towers - only better Fingers crossed it opens on time

If I was honest I would say I hope this ride is broken when I go to Busch Gardens so I dont have to go on it!

I would loooove to go on it but think I may chicken out, So if it was borken I wouldnt have to look like a wimp!

NB) There is NO WAY df would go on this so if jsut the 2 of us went to BG it wouldnt be a problem but if thats the day the other 9 people tag along then I wcould be in trouble!

Rob what's the Dr Doom one like compared to TOT? I was thinking about maybe trying that when we go. I loved TOT I don't have a problem with the vertical drop but I hate rollercoasters because you go down face first - too much like falling I think.

Thanks for that Rob! I didn't think I could remember that being there in 2002 (though no doubt someone will put me right if it was) I played the demo - that doesn't look too bad to me because it's another vertical one - I can cope with those but I'm a wimp with rollercoasters. Who knows why illogical but there it goes.
