I was wondering if anyone had been to Busch Gardens lately and has actually been able to ride Sheikra. I went during the scheduled maintenance, which was supposed to end in mid-Feb, so I knew it'd be closed then. But when I went back in the middle of last month, the "closed for maintenance" sign was still up, although it wasn't (and still isn't) on their closure schedule. That was on a Sunday. A friend went yesterday (Monday) and it was apparently closed again. I'm planning to go back this Sunday and am really hoping it'll be open this time.
Do they close it during slow periods or in high winds (like Universal closes Rip Ride Rocket) or or something?
