Daddy daughter trip!!!!!!!! got a 3 star priceline bid for shearton world on i- drive has any one stayed here??Trip advisor doesnt have such good reviews..Please Help!!!!!!!.....Am i crazy takeing a 6 yr old to orlando with out my wife?

no I think you did great - AAA list the price as $199 to $279 - and gives it 3 stars - you can walk to SW from it

It is however surrounded by higher quality resort it is behind a Renaissance and besides a Hilton and across the street is a Hilton Grand Vacation CLub.

so it might be its neighbors that gives it a bad reputation.

Hey I think you are a very brave man and your daughter is a very lucky young girl!!!

this hotel is closer to SW and IOA/US than WDW. that might be some of the complaints too.

We stayed at the Sheraton World Resort Oct 2002 cost was £34/ night ($60 approx) inc tax.
Like previous post says you can walk to SW no problem in 10 mins.
Only negative was no fridge which is not the end of the world.
What price have you been qoted for which month?
It is available on a website I use in the UK for Oct at a rate of £30/night ($52 Approx) inc tax. at that price I don't think you can go wrong.

we are going feb 27-march31 2004 my wife has to work that weekend,Classess ,certification,for the school system she works at.Bet you never knew the poor girls in the school cafe have to get so many hours of training and re- cert each year and you thought they made the food taste so bad for fun...lol No really she is a cashier at a middle school but she has to get so many hours of class room in each year to keep her certification....The daddy daughter trip came as a brain storm at work....We will most likely go to universal /io on this trip seeing how we have annual passes there,My oldest daughter lives in St.Pete fla and is suppose to meet us there!About a 90 min drive to orlando!!!!! If she shows up,You know how 21 yr old girls can be....Allways thinking about those darn boys.......and have forgotten about Daddy and little sis Have never stayed at this hotel thanks for the info! When we stay on i-drive we usually stay at the Wyndham,This is really a spur of the momment trip so i did the priceline thing,Checked into camping at Disney that weekend 258.00 dollars to camp in my pop up!!!!!! I dont think so!!!!!my dd thought i was being mean to her mum for not takeing her on this trip and kinda got ugly about it with me Oh well you know those 6 yr olds do have a mind of there ownn,I hope mum got it straight with her it could be a long trip with a pouty patty....We are going back April for a week for spring break Mum and all......Staying at Summer bay resort!
