DS passed with flying colors

He skipped the first question, since he didn't know it
and had a mild heart attack that he was going to fail
but then he got every other question correct!


I let him drive home from the DMV


which made my stomach hurt

It is very stressful to be a driver's ed teacher

Dad let me drive home from the DMV...but I was terrifed to make a left turn so we got out and switched drivers...I've come a long way since then

DS actually did a great job driving
and got a workout,

divided highway
two lane highway
one lane underpass
city driving with cars parked on the side
country roads with curves and turns galore


I found myself clutching my hands tightly into fists
but he did really well.

I just got a call from Disney.









It wasn't a good one either.




Continental has changed flights on us.
The flight is going to leave 2 hours earlier than planned.
But when you have to be at the airport 3 hours ahead of the flight, that cut our last day alot.
So we have to call them back.

two kids that were swearing, sort of

mom of girl came in for a conference
shouldn't have been THAT big a deal
but the girl insists to her mom that she never did anything

didn't mention that I gave her the opportunity to say it wasn't so
and she didnt' say a word
and it was HER friend that turned her in....

and you would think she was dying

she didn't want to go home

but I found a flight arriving earlier to Florida
instead of getting to Florida at 12:40 we would get there at 10:57.
