That drink map is really cool!
Jim's story is hilarious! For a second, I thought it was going to say, "The good news is, the front door is unlocked. The bad news is, I don't have a towel!" That would have been a nightmare!
With as quiet as our neighborhood is, I bet he could have ran to the door naked and no one would have been all the wiser.
Ahhh, your treatment sounds so wonderful. So you ended up buying the seaweed solution? Does it work pretty good?
How DARE you say it's better than Palo's version!

I used the first one in the hotel tub today. It seemed to be soothing, the real test will be when I get back home and use it in my big tub. Boy do I miss that! Especially after the last three days. Today was sort of chill, but from Thursday night until Saturday night, it was play, play, play.
I'm not a chocoholic.

So I love the delicate flavor of the Grand Marnier Souffle. I like Palo's but it can be a little intense.
I'm so glad you enjoyed the treatment! I did not know about the various levels...I shall explore those on the next cruise!
They were really big on selling the top level, they kept trying to get me to go for that one saying, "this is anything you want, pick and choose and you can do everything!"
Love Jim's story! I was picturing all the places in my head and hoping the neighbors didn't catch him!
I know, I could totally see him asking the cats not to tell and closing that door without checking to see if it would lock or not. I don't know how it keeps getting set to lock, I make it so only the deadbolt needs locking, but someone keeps turning the knob to "lock". It's not like there are THAT many people coming through the house. Mostly Fran, myself and Darcy and whenever I ask "who done it?" everyone stares blankly. Must be the cats.
Dinner looks great! I love the La Crema Pinot Noir..one of my favorites! Mmmm, souffle! If you are reading my own trip report, I'm just getting to my souffle stories.
Jill in CO
La Crema is a good solid not to expensive wine, I'll often order it if I don't know a lot of the others on the wine list.
I am reading your report. I've gotten to the part where you are on the tour of St. Lucia, I think you just had lunch, but with all the rehearsals and stuff, I've only had moments to read while in between rehearsing other sections. I had been working on the update I posted today since before we got off the cruise, so my goal before going out this morning was to post that update. (I finished it last night while eating leftovers after the concert).
Tomorrow we fly home, so then I won't have any time because Fran will be making me work on packing up the old house and getting the move all finished so that they can start remodeling the place.
Lovely update and I wish I would have started or ended our cruise with a spa treatment.
Still laughing at Jim's story.
I don't think anything can beat the chocolate soufflé at Palo.
I definitely liked starting the cruise with the spa treatment. Jim is a funny guy and has a way with spinning tales, but this one was particularly funny!
As I said above, I'm not a chocoholic, so while I do like the Palo Souffle, I like this one at Triton's a tad bit more.
Late to the party, but loving it.
Which Embassy Suites did you stay at? It seems close to several things. I liked the sound of the gourmet shop. I'll be booking the Westbound PC Repo of 2016 as soon as it comes out. Have to get the planning started. Not much time.
That Alone Time at the spa sounds fantastic. It's going on the list.
So now I have your trip report and Magdalene's to keep up on.

You're not too late, it's only Day 1 of the cruise so there is quite a bit more of tales to tell!
Technically we haven't got to the Embassy Suites yet (in the TR). We stayed at the Extended Stay America because I wanted the stovetop for our first night.
We are currently at the Embassy Suites on 17th street, only a block away from the ESA, and it is a beautiful hotel. I highly recommend it! It seems to be a very busy hotel for cruise passengers, but I think for the cruises leaving out of Ft. Lauderdale and not Miami. That doesn't mean you can't stay on the way to the port of Miami, it's only about 1/2 an hour away, and Ft. Lauderdale hotels are much more affordable than hotels in Miami.
Alone Time was pricey, but totally worth it for the pampering!
