I went over to the mall on my lunch break at work today and I was feeling down so I decided to go eat lunch by myself. I was at Sbarro eating pizza when a lady came in with her little boy, he was about 4 or 5 years old. I just kept watching them because he was so cute and acted a lot like my boys. On the way out I went over to their table and told her that seeing her and her son together made me miss my boys terribly and then I started to cry (not sobbing but I got all chocked up and teary eyed). She just said "Awwww, well thank you" and then we both smile and I left. I never intended to start crying!!! I just miss my kids so much when I'm at work :sad1:

I know exactly what you mean. I've been know to get a lump in my throat if I come upon a school bus while commuting to work. It just reminds me of my own kids. :guilty: :sad2: :lovestruc

I think about them all the time and often find myself staring at their pics in my office. :cloud9:

If one of them calls me and has to leave a message on vmail, I save the message until it "expires." Sometimes I'll just listen to it when I need to hear their voices.

I have a voicemail in my mailbox from probably 4 years ago. Emily wasn't even 2 and Hannah wasn't 3. It is so cute, and it makes me feel good every time I hear it.

I would have understood completely! My youngest is 15 and lately I can't even THINK about her going off to college without the tears starting. I know it's only going to get worse and I don't know how to put a lid on it. :sad2:

I never guessed I'd be able to love someone as much as I love my kids, it's just incredible and it's such a powerful bond that you can't understand it until you've become a parent yourself. Oh I can't wait until 5 so I can leave to go see them!!! :goodvibes Mondays are always harder for me! Thanks for "listening" :grouphug:
