When I lived in Florida, many places allowed you to return plants (up to a year, but t may have depended on the plant). Just like anything else, you can get a dud.
I just don't find it all that surprising.

I bought a cactus plant once - 'cause the guy told me they need little to no care at all.. I killed that too..
Now I won't even buy a flowered blouse..![]()

They returned his money, didn't even hesitate. The things my grandparents return crack me up. Ugh!
