Rose and Crown Fireworks Kids Menu Question

I made reservations for the Rose and Crown Fireworks package without checking out the kid’s menu. Yikes! Only fish or grilled chicken with rice? Well that won’t go over too well with our grandson. Will they have a problem if we bring in food for him? Of course we have already paid for his meal. So no issues there. But I think we will need to bring some chicken strips and/or macaroni and cheese in with us. And the kids desserts look ridiculous. Is the plant based gelato like regular ice cream? He is a fairly big eater and most restaurants at Disney we will buy him adult dinners. But the adult fixed menu isn’t much better for a kid.

Since the fish is breaded and fried and comes with French fries, once you add ketchup it's pretty kid friendly (this is in my opinion- my three boys look forward to this meal but I know all kids are different). The gelato is similar to a scoop of vanilla ice cream with a little bit of fresh fruit- it's refreshing on a hot night. If all else fails, the specialty character drink is a little treat. That said, I don't think they would mind you bringing something else for him. It makes for a really special night- I think you'll enjoy it!

We ate there last year and we were able to swap the rice for fries. My son is a very picky eater and ate the grilled chicken without a problem. He did enjoy the plant based gelato, but I will add that he has an egg allergy and often can only eat plant based/vegan desserts. So, he may have enjoyed it because he’s used to eating plant based desserts or because it would have been genuinely delicious to anyone without a special diet. I didn’t try it but it looked just like vanilla ice cream to me.
