What kind of a discount will she get on park tickets and/or resorts?
I'd like to visit her while she's there.
She leaves 1/9/06!! She was so excited when she got her envelope in the mail yesterday she screamed. She's in merchandising.
Thanks

She will be arriving Feb 1st, working as a vacation planner. The first vacation I would like her to plan is MINE!! LOL We think she will be selling tickets when she gets there, but I guess we will find out for sure in time.
I am wanting to go down there several times while she is working, so I was hoping there would be more than 10% off of the tickets (with the hotel rates more discounted, I am not complaining though!), so I am wondering if I should just get an annual pass and forget about the CP discount.... Any thoughts?
Also, is there a limit on how many times she can get discounted hotel rooms and tickets? I am honestly wanting to go around 4 or 5 times (she is in the advantage program, so she will be there until Aug. 18th, and will also be turning 21 while there), but I don't want to wear out our welcome!
Thanks for any information (and that already given) on the family discounts!

My daughter did Spring Advantage '05 ~ January to August. We had already planned a December family trip for Christmas, so I bought an AP then (knowing I would make good use of it!). I drove down with my daughter the end of January, stayed for 4 days & used the AP. Visited for another 4 days in April, a week in May and then another week the end of July (flew down & drove home with her. I definitely got my money's worth out of that AP ~ although I'm really trying to get another little trip in before my AP expires in Dec!! She loved having me visit -- and I loved riding her boat while she worked and meeting all her friends -- so don't worry about going "too often". She was usually able to take a day off while I was there and I enjoyed doing the parks on my own some days.
The resort discounts were great ~ 50% off (she stayed with me). In January I used my AP to get $104 AKL savannah view. (I sure miss the "old" way of getting AP room ratesI don't believe there was any limit to how many times she could book a resort at her discount ~ the earlier, the better to get the best discount (50, 40 or 25%) and her first choice of resort.
Good luck to your daughter ~ she'll have a great time![]()

TXTink said:I really wanted to take my Mom with me to see her a week or two after she starts, do you think that would be enough time to get a discount on the hotels? My Mom hasn't been to Disney, and is very excited to be there, so I wanted us to stay at a deluxe level resort for a week. That being the case, I was really hoping for a 50% discount. Do you think I should pull back on my plans and put off the trip for a while longer, or do you think that is possible with her being there just a short amount of time?
Thank you!!
