can't believe only a couple of weeks and we will be there.. it's so exciting.. i am trying to get some last minute stuff done.. but it seems like there is not enough time in the day..

Just a quick update on the Mickey Mail. Apparently the package was "Returned to Sender" because they didn't pay attention to the note on my account that read that I live in a condo and need a Suite Number attached to my reservation. So I talked to nice women on the phone for 20 minutes and she ASSURED me that the package was not a necessity since I had my Magical Express mail and therefore did not need anything else until I got to the resort. She promised that when I got there I would get my vouchers (and other valuable offers) would be at the front desk of the Beach Club because "there is no way we can ship it back up to Canada that fast (that fast being 20 days minus I suppose Easter Weekend etc.)"

I am...mildly satisfied with this answer, but want to know, should I call again tomorrow and try and get another CM to give me the desired answer of "Oh yes, right now ma'am, we just sent Aladdin off with his Magic Carpet to get them to you in time"?

In other news today I am packing. Because packing I can control.

Chibi is not satisfied with this answer :I if they knew it was sent back to them why did they not call like they did a billion and a half time when we already knew that our flight had been changed? pfft it is called express post, they need to make it happen!

Jay is also not impressed. It's their fault! They should god darn fix it!!!

Tux reporting that this is not good. Disney must make it magical! And why would they send Aladdin with carpet? Genie is quicker.

I love the rapunzel wig..and your pics are awesome! I have always been a little envious of folks who have the energy to create all those very cool costumes. You guys are great!

I think as long as you have your express tickets, you are good to go. you just won't get your uber cool luggage tags till you get to WDW

I would never have any energy if I didn't have friends to hang out with while doing it. Solo pursuits just do not work for me!

I think I'll call again tomorrow just in case the first CM didn't try her gosh-darn Disney hardest. I want my freakin' luggage tags!!!!

I'm positive there is not enough time in the day. When did Passover/Easter (or my new name for it, "Red Sea Egg Hunt") come at the end of May. Where did April go?

I want to do so many more little things and need two weeks of weekends. The Monday - Friday I could take or leave but for 19 days of Saturday/Sundays I would kill for!

Chibi here, I just want to say (I know the counter is two days off our countdown to the Lion King) 18 days to go tomorrow ON THE 18TH!!! GAHHH SANITY GONE FOREVER!

Since today is a lucky Jewish number and Passover I decided to call Reservations again and try to get the package. This time the CM told me it was in the mail with my suite number and would be here by the weekend, but if it wasn't then not to worry the nice people at the Beach Club would print things for me. I think at this point I have to give up and just tell them on-site that it makes me sad.

Try to get them to Fed Ex you. Regular U.S. post is a bit tricky at 20 days (with Easter thrown in) so courier is the only way to go.

I finally saw Tangled last night. LOL Now I understand the costume AND the different colour hair. ROFL well done....it was great before but now it just takes on another level of awesomeness

Q: How do you know that your Disney trip is thisclose?
A: When you are at the point that having something mailed to you before the trip is a tight squeeze.

Both CMs insisted that they do not FedEx the Mickey Mail, just Magical Express mail. I call bull but at this point, if they're all giving me different answers, I'd rather deal with it face to face with the Beach Club check-in staff.

Just thought I'd let everyone know about a recent milestone that passed for both me and the other half of Maki, Megpie.

WE'RE DONE SCHOOL! =D At least until september anyway!

Megpie wrote her last exam yesterday, and I just finished my last one this morning. I can't quite remember what megpie's exam was, but I wrote my 'techniques in molecular biology' lab course final today, and to say the least it was icky BUT ITS DONE!! I'm officially done 3rd year, and that feels kinda good!

And we're just 15 days until Lion King and our unofficial start to disney! SO EXCITED!! I honestly can't believe its so close, I need to start packing!

With all this talk of exploding and glitter and jars, I decided I would kick the long weekend off with a craft project.

Megpie's is Green and filled with dark Slytherin/Mardi Gras colors. Lots of Purples, Greens and Metallics.

My and Chibi's Crafty project came in the mail today, but there was no one to sign for it so it's spending the weekend at the Fed-Ex facility. But since it involves sewing, it has to wait until next weekend anyways.

And Tux. Well...I haven't thought of Tux's craft surprise yet, but I have a week, it'll come!

Not gonna lie, the whole time I was making the jars I was thinking, "wish I had a Cricut like JMAT" I've always passed by them at Michaels (I believe these are only in Canada, they're basically Joanne's) and gone "nah, I'd never want one of those," until I got on the Disboards.

We will be taking Millions and Millions of photos. We took almost 500 photos during our impromptu'd photoshoot two weekends ago, so I'm more worried about running out of space every day before we get back to the room to camera dump on Chibi's wheezy old laptop. I think I also want to pack something to back the whole thing up on just in case it kicks the bucket mid-trip. Any tips? My portable Tb hard drive will be coming with us for this reason XD

If the laptop dies at Disney I will be sad because I rally can't afford the mac yet T_T But the Sony is going on like...10 years. I'll do a clean on it before we head down just in case.

Also those tees: Yes I want one, can the logo be on the BACK of the shirts for us girls? <3 I agree with Chibi on this one! I very much want my frying pans across my chest Eugene needs to know how much I love him...

Thanks!! Not going to lie, does feel pretty good XD Though it hasn't completely sunk in yet! I still feel like I have something I need to study for/work on and its a bit of an odd feeling actually.

I feel like the next two weeks are going to be killer though. At least in school there was something to distract me from the fact that disney's coming, but now that I'm done, it's one of the only things I'm thinking about! Not that that's a bad thing of course! I went back home today from the house I rent at school, and since most of my summer stuff is home, I started to make a pile of things I want to bring. It's almost a surreal feeling that after so long looking forward to this trip (more than a year now) that it's really almost here!!!!

I take a gazillion photos when I'm on vacation and even if I have laptop and external hd to back them up, I leave them on the card. I never leave it where the photo is only on one device. Paranoid that way, I guess.

If you really think you'll run out of space, go and buy more memory cards. I carry a full wallet ful of them when I go out. LOL

There was a sale on at Tiger Direct this week and I do have a Costco card....I just haven't decided yet if I need to splurge on another card when I have 2 8GB cards. I only ran out of space once in a single day and that was Canada Day last year. But a lot of those photos probably could have been deleted to save space and I had over 500 photos on that card and some videos as well.

According to http://www.theweathernetwork.com/ it will be sunny and 25 with a low of 22. This is an excellent forecast because I was warm yesterday in 15 degree weather.

Can't wait to see the rest of our forecast! Here's hoping for more beautiful sun as we head to Stormaway Bay! Stormalong Bay! Jeez, Malkin, get it right <33 But cannot wait til the warm weather!! We've had weirdly cold weather recently so I'm excited to get out of that...

I'm going to burn to a crisp ;_; (which is why we're making sure you keep that crazy SPF sunscreen on at all times <3) (but will love EVERY MINUTE OF IT)

I was gonna ask, "You guys like cold weather?" until I realized that it's in celsius. Where I live, it's gonna be between 48 degrees and 59 degrees for the next ten days except for this Saturday. It will be 67 degrees. It's gonna rain and thunder on Saturday which may not work out too well for Six Flags. And it's going to be 49 degrees and mostly cloudy on my birthday. That sucks. And this is all in Farenheit. lol

It's gonna be in the high 80s and low 90s in Disney World this week and part of next (I can only look at the next 10 days) so hopefully it will be nice during our trips.
