My daughter broke up with her boyfriend. The kid whose parents didn't want him to have a girlfriend, who she couldn't call at home in case his mother found out she was his girlfriend. He lied to her, can you believe it? So she dumped him.

She's 13. The boy told her that his parents thought he was too young to have a girlfriend. I wouldn't have said anything to her except that she made a big fuss one night about having to call him on his cell phone because she wasn't allowed to call him at his house. I gave her some food for thought -- that if he'slying to his paretns about her, he could be lying to her, to. Sure enough...
