I have read to get a retractable sharpie for autographs. I have also heard/read, however, that the fuzzy characters really need a thick pen to sign well. I cannot seem to find both retractable and thick - does one exist? If not, which matters more - I think I can manage to keep track of the top (ha!).

We used these on our trip in 2013 and they seemed to work very well :)

We use this set. Never had a problem & it comes in a nice plastic pouch to keep the pens organized. It's easy to carry in your bag. :)

Ah... Thanks all! I was looking at the "king-size" and "magnum" sharpies, which caused my confusion. Thanks again.

This is the same set we use. The kids have fun deciding what color to give each character, and the fact that they're retractable means no one is dropping/losing/fumbling with caps. They're great!

We used them on our last visit. Most of the characters had no problem except Duffy... his paws are a little bigger and a little more clumsy. So if you meet Duffy and his paws have blue on them, sorry about that! :crazy2:

I wouldn't worry about it. The costume department is well versed in removing sharpie ink.
