Sharpie's and Photos?

Hi guys

I figured you'd be the experts on this question.

I've made autograph books for an upcoming trip. I normally print them myself and cut them out, bind them, etc. This time I thought, save some time and money, I'd get them printed as spiral bound photo books. I wasn't thinking it through properly though cause they've arrived, look great but are on glossy photo paper not the matter photo book style I was expecting. Basically it's like having 45 photos bound into a book. As I say, happy with the look BUT I'm now worried about the autographs.

Assuming we are a little careful about smudging etc, will sharpie pens be the best ones for characters using these books? Will Buzz lightyear's stamp etc also be ok? Help!

Sharpies would work, though they might smudge a bit. Make sure you get the clickable ones, I prefer those as you do not have to worry with the cap.

Ooh good thinking, thank you. The books are all for adults too (kids at heart) so hopefully they'll be god at letting it dry x

If you are worried about smudging you could get those white labels you would stick on envelopes and place one under each picture.

I'm being blonde. Do you mean address labels? How would it help? Sorry, I'm not as 'crafty' as I'd like to be so I can't figure it out. X

Sharpies work wonderfully. I had thought the same but just leave the page open for few seconds and wave it, it dries quite quickly. Buzz's stamp included.

Plain white address labels you would put somewhere on the page for them to sign so it doesn't smear.

Celebs sign glossy photos with sharpies and it turns out great. What about using tissue in between the pages?
