Destined to become a new tag line !! VERY FUNNY !!

I know this thread was started because someone didn't want to see sharks, but I'm now psyched that I might. I'm cautious about them (they never leave my sight in the video of my dive at the Living Seas...you can see my head move to follow their movements!!) but I'd love to see some. I have been cage diving with Great White sharks in South Africa....not looking for that sort of thrill, however, on this trip!

I agree with the previous poster that you should have a healthy respect for the ocean. Remember that Castaway Cay is controlled (by the nets) but it's not a Disney theme park ride. It's not even the shark reef at Typhoon Lagoon. At the same time, Disney wouldn't buy an island in an area that was likely to have a large population of large predators.

Saw the Barracuda(1) June 1, 2004 at Castaway Cay. He just swam right by without posing for a picture. The biggest thing to worry about is the Sea Lice:headache: :worried:

Where ARE the Tag faries when you need them??

Don't worry about sharks! Castaway Cay is a controlled area...with nets. Which doesn't 100% keep everything out, but if you should spot one it would be on the adult side and further off shore than most would probably go. Just a reminder to leave your jewelry in your cabin safe. Any shiny, dangling, gold and silver would draw attention to you from a variety of sea creatures:fish: :fish: :fish:
