Are you allowed to share table service meals? It will be myself, DH, and 3 DD's. I was thinking that DH and I could share (Adult credit), my oldest would get her own (adult credit), and my 2 yougest could share "my" adult credit or get 2 kids meals.

Is this allowed?

yes you can share, at counter service & at table service where you're ordering from a menu.

The exceptions to no-sharing would be places that feature all-you-can-eat platters (like the skillet at WCC), and at buffets or family-serve places (like Garden Grill, 'Ohana, or Liberty Tree Tavern dinner)...you'll have to spend one credit per person at those places.

Yes you can share TS most of the time. There may be a few TS restaurants that don't allow it. Obviously you won't be doing this at buffets or family style meals.

How will you use up the extra TS credits? Are you going to book some more TS meals?

I'm not a huge eater, but I ate most if not all of my TS meals. There was only one place that I ate at that I know I could easily share a meal at.

Woo hoo!

We'll be there for 10 days and although most will be buffets 4 will be regular TS meals. If DH and I share and my 2 youngest kids get kids meals that will leave 4 TS credits we can use for a couple extra regular TS meals and we'll just pay for the kids OOP and may get a couple of extra sides or appetizers to fill the gaps. There's just so many darn restaurants we want to try we're trying to hit as many as we can lol

I don't think that you realize how much food is involved with this.

We went for 5 days with 4 adults (3 of them men) and we had the regular plan and at the end of the week we had several snack credits and 5 meal credits left still.

If it's just a matter of trying lots of places and trying them that's fun, but I think the kids would probably enjoy doing rides more than waiting for a table in a restaurant.

The only "menu service" location I've heard of that doesn't allow plate sharing is Beaches and Cream.

Yes, we've had several reports that B&C doesn't allow dining plan users to share entrees, but they do allow sharing for guests who are paying cash. I don't know if this is still the case, but there were multiple reports of this policy at one time.

We did DXDDP in December and were allowed to share meals at Marrakesh, Y&Y and 50sPT.
