Sharing the good news- akv 3 weeks out!

Hi - thought I'd share my dvc luck. Wanted a last minute trip. As of last week there were no studios avail for my 4 night feb stay in any wdw dvc. But today luck came my way - 4 nights akv standard studio for my dates. That was the only Studio avail in any dvc hotel. Canceling my pop res tomorrow. So you can get lucky if you are flexible and call.

Wonderful! Are you staying in Kidani or Jambo House? I stayed in a studio in the latter last May and LOVED IT. What a fabulous place AKL(V) is. Have a blast!

That's the best news!! We got that lucky back in October at AK. Being flexible with the days sure does help. Have a great trip!

Congrats, I think there have been a lot of cancellations. My wait list for a 1 bedroom AKL value came through yesterday. I booked the beginning of the trip less than 8 weeks ago. Have a great trip, hope the weather is warm

It is jambo, which we like. This time I was not flexible with my dates but I was completely open to where I stayed. It will be busy as it is the back end of pres week.

OMG! Partiallly because of this thread we decided to try for a 'very last minute' reservation to use up some points that will expire this June.
I was able to get Kidani Savannah View in a 1 and 1/2 weeks for 3 nights! I'm am so excited, I could scream.
We need to get away from snow and frigid temps; plus it's the week before our anniversary and Dh's birthday...perfect!
