Sharing Points to Cruise

Well we are low on points for next year (decided to borrow some from 04’ to vacation at BCVs this August). To my surprise my MIL mentioned today that she is looking at buying points now too and wants to cruise!
**Ok here is the big question** If we want to cruise on points in 04’ can we use both of our points and combine them into one reservation? I wasn’t sure if this is an available option and what stipulations we need to be aware of.

I'm pretty sure you cannot combine points to make any reservaiton. However, one member can transfer points to another member. In your case your MIL could transfer whatever points you might need to make the cruise reservation.

Are there any restrictions associated with transferring points, and do the rules change at all when booking the Disney Cruise this way?

MS will handle all of the transfer details. Once transferred, the points can easily be applied to a cruise. You can also combine points and cash to pay for the cruise!
