We are going to AKL on an exchange and were thinking of buying the DDP.
I was curious....I do not eat much at all on vacation because I have IBS and gastritis. When I am on the go and anxious i don't have much of an appetite. I could eat an apple for lunch and be satisfied. Is it possible get meals and share with my husband?? Like I said I won't eat much and we will both be satisfied sharing one meal. How strict are they? Do they have DDP police watching people to make sure everyone has credits? How does that work? Do they list the people who have credits on the key card?
Thanks

No. You are not allowed to share your credits with someone not on your reservation. You KTTW card will have how many people are on the plan on it. I would think that the DDP would not be best for you this trip.

Have fun!

Right. If I have 1 adult and 2 kids on the DDP then I will order one adult and 2 kids meals. I will share my meal with my husband. Is that possible?

No-everyone in the same room/reservation must be on the same plan.

No. With your husband not on the dining plan, you can't share dining plan-purchased food with him. That's the same in this case as using dining plan credits to purchase his food.

Plus, according to your similar post in another thread, he's not staying onsite? He's definitely not eligible for any onsite perks -.such as the DDP.

If you are staying in the same room, both you and your husband must purchase the same dining plan. There is no way you can purchase it for him and not for you. If your husband is not staying with you (which is not evident from your post here, but apparently you mentioned it in another post), then you cannot purchase the plan yourself and use it to provide meals for him.
