So on this trip my 2 oldest will be 14 and 10. The 10 year old is still a chicken finger fries kind of kid. But looking at the menus I am thinking she might be ok sharing whatever her Brother ends up ordering(and I fear it will be steak most nights!)
Can they share? I would actually prefer her having a real meal vs. paying $10 for french fries if I can avoid it. So yes this comes from a cheapness point of view.

And we are NOT on the dining plan.

Sure you can share but could she order a couple of appetizers for her meal. I say this because outside of a buffet I've really haven't seen that many places were the portions where big enough for 2 people to share. I've asked a couple of times on these forum where do people eat who share regularly but if my teens share 1 entree some one is mad. I'm hoping one day disney will have some sort of "Jr" entree. A step up from the kids menu but not a full serving.

They could share but the 10 year old could also order from the child's menu (except at buffets and family style meals). DD didn't eat much when she was younger and wasn't very adventurous. I used to just ask if she could order form the kids menu and was never refused. She's 16 now and will still order from the kids menu once in a while.
