I am sure this has probably been discussed before, but do the restaurants mind if my 10 year old daughter and I share a meal?
Or, can adults order off the kids meal? Is this acceptable or a Disney no no?

My Mom and I do it all the time. Like a steak at LeCellier, half is plenty for each of us. We've bought food off the kid's menu at counter service but not at a sitdown.

My mom is not a big eater. She asked if she could get the kids meal for herself and they said yes. She orders the kids meals now all the time.

My DH and I always share. I could never eat any of the meals alone. I would ending throwing tons of food away.

I would say no problem as long as you are not at buffet.::yes:: :wave2:

DH and I always share as well. We've found most of the portions are huge, and we can't stand to waste food =) Esp at WDW prices! =)

i especially do this if we are eating breakfast at the resort. at the food court, i will get a kids breakfast meal for $3 - instead of the $8 that i will not eat it all of it.

like the other said, i am pretty sure that it is okay, as long as you are not at a buffet. then they pretty much charge for everyone that is coming in there, no matter how much you eat

good luck!

I've read that some WDW restaurants (prime time cafe was the example I heard) will even split the food onto 2 plates for you if you ask.

My older parents were with us several weeks ago at Artist Point, and they requested to split the salmon dinner and a salad. They put both on individual plates, and were happy to accommodate.

Same at Fulton's, although they got one dinner and one empty plate.
