Sharing meals between adults

We are doing the DDP this year

There are two restaurants we are visiting during lunch (T-Rex & Sci-Fi) where we (my husband and I) would like to use 1 adult TS credit between the two of us (we have larger meals planned for later and lots of snack/QS credits if we are still hungry) and 1 child TS between our two kids. We could of course use extra TS but it's kind of a waste of credits since we are never overly hungry at lunch and we know from experience Disney lunches are too much.

Will we have any issues ordering 1 TS for an adult and 1 TS for a child from these places and asking for two extra plates to share the meals?

We do it all the time. My DGD (13) and I share all of our TS meals as long as it's not a buffet, or character meal. We just purchase a beverage OOP or I drink water.
