My mom and I will be going to WDW in Nov-Dez 11. Our last trip, we found out that one CS meal is enough for the 2 of us. So now we are wondering if we should take the dinning plan. Would it be possible to share a CS for breakfast and one for lunch?
Because if we have to order one CS meal each, we are better of without the dinning plan.

And would it be possible to add the plan to our existing reservation of the hotel? Could we do that upon check-in? We booked the Beach Club with an annual pass discount.

You can share CS meals. We sometimes do that which means we can use the extra ones for a different meals since most DP don't cover all 3 meals.

I wouldn't wait until arrival to change. Much simplier to do ahead of time.

DH and I share our CS meals every day. One for breakfast and one for either lunch or supper depending when our TS meal is going to be that day. We always have more than enough to eat to the point of not using our snack credits until our last day to take goodies home with us. The dining plan only gives you one CS a day, so if you're on that, you & your mom can cover all three meals between you. Very economical!

I think that you can add up until 72 hours before you check in. If you have AP, have you looked into the Tables In Wonderland discount card. I've plan to use it the future, so I haven't personally used it yet, but I've read about so many positive experiences about it. Have fun!

You can't add dining at check-in.

You will need to call WDW no later than 3 days before your arrival and say you want a ticketless room plus dining package for passholders.

This will make your reservation a package, and you will have to pay it off at 45 days, or if you are within 45 days you will have to pay it off when you make it a package, which means paying for the dining plan plus any remaining balance on the reservation. And yes, you can apply the AP room discount to your passholder dining package.

Tables in Wonderland is great if you're going to do table service, but you can't use it at very many CS places.

What DD5 and I did last year was

Use one Credit to get a Breakfast and share it, giving DD the drink (I used my resort mug to make my own tea).
We'd use one of our snack credits for a side dish.

Repeat at lunch.

For dinner, we'd use our Table Service meals.

Worked out perfectly for us

Thank you all for the toughts.

We will add the DP. I'll make a phone call in the next days.
We loved the food at TS so much on our last stay, but didn't eat there all the time because we stayed off site. This time we will stay onsite for the first time and we won't rent a car.
We are no big eaters and with the time difference to home even less.
The DP should be plenty for us. Last time we only had a shared CS meal a deal, that we couldn't even finish and then a nice TS for dinner.
I hope I can still get some good ADR's.
