sharing credits on dddp

Hi all! Very experienced at wdw, but very new to the ddp. Recently got into the dvc and now we have the ddp option without having to do a package. So we will be in wdw for 9 nights in October. My mom lives in daytona and wants to come visit the kids a day or two. Can we share our credits with her even if she isn't staying in the room? Like if we got the ddp deluxe and she wanted to go with us one night to hoop dee doo can she use 2 of our credits that we won't use? And how does it all work with the magic bands? Do they swipe everyone's or just one and you tell them how many credits to deduct? Sorry for all the questions, just want to make sure we don't get any surprises when we get there!

no, you can't use your credits for your Mom. Since you will be there for a decent amount of time and are DVC as well as FL res you should look into TIW (Tables in Wonderland). It's 20% off food and alcoholic beverages with tip included. It's good for up to 10 people as well and is good for 13 months.

No, the rules of the DxDDP state that you cannot use credits for anyone who is not on your plan. Also, if for example there are 2 adults on your plan, you will not be able to redeem more than 2 adult meals at one sitting.

Fromthe DxDDP:
You may not redeem meals or snacks for any Guests who are not on
your Disney Deluxe Dining Plan.

Thanks for the help. I will look into the tables in wonderland. Hopefully that will work.

You could make it work with Quick Serve credits I think, but not a TS. Then again a QS wouldn't be the best use of the deluxe plan. We are doing TIW for our upcoming trip to see if we end up liking it better.
