Sharing at Yachtsman Steakhouse?

I was wondering if it is possible to share a meal at the Yachtsman. There is no way that my husband and I could each eat a whole meal with the size of those steaks! If you can share an entree using the DDP, is there an extra plate charge? I'm thinking that maybe we could order an appetizer (pay OOP), share an entree & the dessert. What do you guys think?

I would definitely do that. The portions are huge.

We've shared meals at many WDW restaurants, both off and on DDP. We've never been charged a plate charge. We haven't eaten at YS though so I can't so about that one. We are actually thinking of eating there for the first time this trip-are the portions that huge? My DM and I share many meals and if they are that big we could defintely share. Or we could order 2 meals and DM, DD10, and I could share. Something to think about.
