Guessing this is maybe not possible? My husband and I will do this quite a bit at restaurants so was wondering if it was possible to only use up one credit doing that. Obviously not at buffets or the like.
Our DD (14) and I do it all the time, EXCEPT for a buffet, where sharing is not allowed. A few may charge to share - read the fine print at the bottom of the menu- but we really do it alot, especially at high end restaurants where I can order an extra salad and then we split the entree.
Good to know. We really like appetizers so sometimes we'd prefer to get one and then share an entree. I don't want to waste food. Obviously the appetizer will be out of pocket. And yes, not at buffets or family style places.
Via Napoli will not allow you to use one dining credit to feed multiple people. Obviously you can't do this at buffets/AYCE/fixed price/dinner shows. Other than that, you're good to go.

Correct. Everyone will be charged credits or pay OOP at buffets, all you care to eat family style meals (e.g. 'Ohana), dinner shows (Hoop De Doo, Spirit of Aloha luau, Mickey's Backyard Barbecue), fixed price meals (e.g. CRT, Akershus), fixed price dining events (e.g. Wishes Dessert Party), Fantasmic Dining Package, Candlelight Processional Dining Package, and anyone who chooses the Family Platter at Whispering Canyon Cafe.
