Guessing this is maybe not possible? My husband and I will do this quite a bit at restaurants so was wondering if it was possible to only use up one credit doing that. Obviously not at buffets or the like.

Our DD (14) and I do it all the time, EXCEPT for a buffet, where sharing is not allowed. A few may charge to share - read the fine print at the bottom of the menu- but we really do it alot, especially at high end restaurants where I can order an extra salad and then we split the entree.:thumbsup2

Good to know. We really like appetizers so sometimes we'd prefer to get one and then share an entree. I don't want to waste food. Obviously the appetizer will be out of pocket. And yes, not at buffets or family style places.

My daughter's and I did it all the time on the dining plan (except the buffets of course).

I do know there are a few places that don't allow it though. I think Via Napoli is one, but I can't remember the rest.

Via Napoli will not allow you to use one dining credit to feed multiple people. Obviously you can't do this at buffets/AYCE/fixed price/dinner shows. Other than that, you're good to go.

Tuttu Italia does not allow sharing DDP credits. I read recently that T Rex Cafe doesn't allow it.

Just ask the server upfront before ordering.

Most places allow you to do this.

I have split several meals with my dd 10 on and off the ddp.

Normally I tip little better too, just to not feel like a cheapskate :lmao:

Correct. Everyone will be charged credits or pay OOP at buffets, all you care to eat family style meals (e.g. 'Ohana), dinner shows (Hoop De Doo, Spirit of Aloha luau, Mickey's Backyard Barbecue), fixed price meals (e.g. CRT, Akershus), fixed price dining events (e.g. Wishes Dessert Party), Fantasmic Dining Package, Candlelight Processional Dining Package, and anyone who chooses the Family Platter at Whispering Canyon Cafe.
