Hi, they are Euro Disney SCA - I think the code is EDL, if buying online make sure you are on the international stock page. HTH

Will Halifax know which ones if I say euro Disney.

Is there any difference between euro Disney shares.

They need to know you are buying international shares listed on the Paris Euronext. If they need any further info the ISIN code is FR0010540740 and the code, as Sarah said, is EDL. As a further check, the price is approx €3.70 a share.

Do any of you know if these can be bought anywhere in ireland? or is there any way they could be bought by an irish person, we have no halifax here they all left a couple of weeks ago and afaik there are no other banks that sell disney shares here .

rosabelle i bought them from aib but they were expensive. i had to pay 100 euros as a fee just to buy the shares. there is no annual fee after that. after looking into it it was still worth it for me as i go twice a year, it has more than made up the difference already but if you dont go as often then it is not worth it.

i always said disney would be a once-in-a-lifetime trip, till we went! Now we'll have been 3 times in 16 months so I think I should look at ways of cutting costs longterm a little, plus i'd like to have "my own" little piece of disney too if ye know what i mean

Is this true for all Halifax accounts? I take it you can then use this £100 to buy your shares, you don't need to just leave it there?
I already have all my other account with Bank of Scotland/Halifax, so I'm going to pop in and see them today and ask what the process is for setting up a shares account. I'm so excited, can't wait to be a Disney shareholder (it's my birthday present from parents this year). Will definitely be worthwhile as there are 3 of us going for 6 days in November, and planning a trip with the BF next summer too. We worked out we will probably save more than the cost of the shares on food alone this trip.

Just put phone down after doing my first deal.

All I said to operative on phone euro Disney EDL the rest was taking care of. The deal should be done by Thursday.

I have printed off my share certificate, Filled in the club details and printed this off and signed. They have all been faxed. I hope that I need to do.
